Pros:

Retained village pub atmosphere whilst being warm & welcoming from staff & regulars.
Gleaming room & en-suite, fresh bedding & plenty of thick towels. Good range of teas/coffee for making drinks in room. Extra blanket in wardrobe for warmth. Room quickly warmed at night when timed heating came on. Would book again & recommend to others.

Cons:

The main door banging when people entreated & left building would be better on spring loaded closure. Fortunately we had brought ear-plugs.

Nice overpriced without breakfast...

Nice little clean room with very clean comfortable bed and beautiful view... Easy access parking

Cons:

I had booking for 2 nights with breakfast included... unfortunately on second day they left me without breakfast... wake up in the morning and realised kitchen was closed and there was no one around to ask and all door was closed...so the was not breakfast service nothing...plus no one day before told me that...very disappointed leaving this hotel angry and hungry driving 5 hours back to Cornwall...never happen to me before...

Great little hotel/pub. Amazing food and drinks. Rooms are comfy with a beautiful view. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Not a lot

Cons:

Outside tatty. Room very small bathroom miniscule. Nowhere to put down clothes or wash bags. Property looked neglected Interior functional not comfortable. Breakfast poor no cereal no marmalade no fruit just normal fry up not hot or tasty nobody to talk about it. poor value for money. Stayed in much better premier inns for half the price
