Abbiamo trascorso sei notti al Balin Hotel e ci siamo trovati benissimo! La stanza anche se un po’ piccolina era accogliente e ci hanno dato un upgrade con camera con il terrazzino che non era previsto. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la cura nelle pulizie che è stata fatta quotidianamente e abbiamo ricevuto anche una piacevolissima sorpresa. Per il compleanno di mio marito ho chiesto se avessero disponibile una semplice candelina e invece hanno portato direttamente una torta con tante candeline e la scritta buon compleanno, con tanto di canzoncina di sottofondo, organizzando tutto in pochi minuti. Tutti i ragazzi dello staff sono stati attenti, disponibili, gentili e professionali, ci siamo sentiti davvero a casa! Comodissimo anche per il tram, la fermata è a tre minuti a piedi. Buona la colazione, aggiungerei soltanto qualche opzione in più per la parte dolce, mentre per il salato c’è un’ampia scelta. Grazie di tutto, speriamo di tornare in futuro!

A stellar hotel in every regard. Location super convenient to the top sites in the old city area with access to metro a block away if you don't want to walk it. Restaurants readily available in the area. Refrigerator was not working when we arrived, fixed by the next day. Staff could not have been nicer, loved coming home every night to a nice space which had been tidied up, as opposed to an AirBNB. Fifty dollars flat for hotel to arrange a trip to the airport (no worries about tipping), which is 45 minutes away...the nicest airport you will ever set foot in, "dazzling" is the only way to describe it.
Like all hotels, you will get stung by the $10.00 (US) dollars for 2 Cokes. There is a grocery store one block away which we were unaware of when we decided to lunch on the balcony.
A pleasant stay overall. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were initially given a room without a view, but it was changed the next morning. Breakfast was delicious and varied enough.
The only downside was the towels, which didn't absorb water well and didn't seem to be cotton.
