Budget room in the city centre

1. No sheets.
2. A non-working refrigerator.
3. Torn-off blinds and a window without a curtain.

we didn’t get the room that we booked, we got a way smaller room with a bunk bed where you couldn’t even open a suitcase. After calling them, they said we have to be one night there and then for the second night we can move to the room we actually booked. I asked them to get a refund of 200nok because the room I booked was more expensive BUT we never received the money back, no response!!

The property did not match the photos in any way. The accommodation, which was supposed to be ready and handed over at 3:00 PM, was not cleaned. The blankets and pillows were dirty, and there was trash everywhere.

After contacting the host, they initially admitted that the room was not yet prepared and cleaned for guests. A few minutes later, they claimed that everything was ready. Upon further communication, the host promised to send a cleaning crew. About 15 minutes later, a young man arrived, and we agreed that we could leave our belongings in the room, leave for an hour, and upon our return, the room would be prepared. However, when we returned around 7:00 PM, the bed linens had not been changed, and the blankets were just straightened!

We were on the verge of looking for new accommodation. This kind of experience is unacceptable in this day and age.

They can't speak English very well and because of that communication with them is quite confusing. They wrote that there would be other "guest" and it meant 5. They don't tell you anything in detail either because of their level of English or because they don't want you to know.

The system of entering the house is irritating. The owner writes about a white door but that is step two. Firstly you need to find the house (the photo is deceiving because it is not a corner house but third on that street), then get the key from the key locker next to the gate (the code was given to us just a moment before entering the house), unlock the door, secure it with a stone or something (otherwise it would close again) and return the key (because there is one key for everybody).

The owner doesn't tell you that in that flat there are 3 rooms and two of them are really tiny so you will be there with 6 other people even when there is just one bathroom (a shower and a toilet together) so waiting for some time there (cleaning teeth, showering, toilet time...) is a struggle all the time.

The walls are paper thin, so you will hear everything (creaking, talking, showering, cooking etc.). The door to room number 1 (three beds) gets stuck all the time so you will wake up everyone or be awakened when someone needs to use a loo.

There is no hairdryer.

Yes, there are the washing machine and the dryer but they are filled with bedding and towels all the time so you can't use them. You can listen to the noise and enjoy the heat that the dryer makes in the kitchen.

There is no mop in the bathroom so it is wet and there is a mess all the time which is no surprise after 7 people. I would appreciate an option to clean it after others.
