Once the goons left, all was fine.
Pros:

All the staff were warm and friendly.

Cons:

The secret police stationed on most populated floors were not. We had to complain before they disappeared. Whichever 'authority' decided that surveillance was a good idea should be rehabilitated, and the hotel never should have accepted such an invasion of our privacy, especially after the rude treatment of our African colleagues by customs and barriers to their travel extended through the airlines. The Arena folks were hospitable, but the state organs were not.

Great staff! Assistance was great as well.
Pros:

It was okay.

Cons:

The kitchen was a bit far from our room but it was accessible, the meals were the same so some variety would do well as it became a hustle to go and eat the same thing.
