The location
My stay at Hoàng Gia Hotel Nhân Hòa in Hanoi was a mixed experience. The female receptionist was very kind and helpful—when I noticed that the bed sheets were dirty from previous guests, she responded quickly and had them changed right away, which I really appreciated. However, the male staff member in the morning was quite the opposite. He came across as rude, made unwelcoming facial expressions, and didn’t speak any English, which made communication difficult and the overall experience uncomfortable. On a positive note, the location is great. It’s situated in a more local area of the city, close to plenty of good food spots and away from the more touristy areas. Overall, while there were some positives, the service inconsistency and cleanliness issues made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

We got surprised after all of the great ratings from others. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant stay for us. The first room we received was super humid, no air, and the windows were facing another building's walls, so no air circulation was possible- which caused mold in the room. We spent a night in that room as we arrived late at night. The staff was nice enough to change our room on the next moring to a new one. However, it did not go that smooth as the keys were not working when we wanted to open our door. After all of these back and forth, they asked us to mark our stay as a no show, claiming that there was an error in the system. We did not proceed as we would have needed to pay the comission fee instead of them in this case.

Phòng quá bẩn, chưa bao jo đi một ks nào mà thấy ghế toàn lông vùng kín, quá tởm , mình phải trả phòng chạy ngay luôn, dù là phòng mắc nhất nhưng rất chật chội, ko có lấy một cái tủ đựng đồ, cực kì hôi mùi thuốc lá.
