Pros:

Centre of town, very homely and lovely staff throughout

It could do with some face lift but it’s a very old building so part of its charm.

Beautiful location for a romantic get away
Pros:

The location and view were spectacular. Ample parking. Breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

The tea was terrible. The river had more colour than two teabags in a cup. Breakfast staff were a little curt but ok

All the basics covered, and free parking
Pros:

Comfortable bed, good breakfast (pleasantly surprised to have a vegan option and it was really tasty), and a great location with easy & free parking. Staff were all friendly. The bed & bathroom—most important bits—were very clean, updated, and met all expectations. Booklet in the room gave some interesting history of the hotel and Boston which I liked learning about.

Cons:

The property and some elements in the room are a bit dated/wearing around the edges. Also not their fault but 6.30am wakeup by a colony of seagulls outside wasn't great!
