Very nice and will come again.
Pros:

The view of the hotel is spectacular. You can see Gunung Sinabung clearly in the morning. Outside room temperature was 16 degree. The room is cheap but clean. The staff also excellent. Got morning hot tea and cake available serve by the staff.

Cons:

Hot water is not available for longer period of time. So, the next person will shower using ice-cold water.

5 star for budget hotel
Pros:

I like everything, the owner is friendly, helpful if needed. It's worth the price you pay, even though the room equipment is basic, but it's worth the price you pay clean and tidy rooms, not far from the city center and tourist areas.

Nice place to stay in Berastagi
Pros:

It was a lovely place. Very helpful/friendly owner who linked up us with Wendy (local Mt Sibayak Hike Guide). Not only managed to hike Mt Sibayak but she also brought us to visit the local fruit market, a waterfall and a beautiful church. This place is 6-8 mins from the main city street. It was clean.
