Good stay for the last minute need.
Pros:

Loved that we were able to get a room allowing dogs at the last moment. Husband had surgery and the weather was bad so stayed here. When his dr apt changed to TC from Petosky the next day we stayed another night due to the storm. Convenient location to the hospital.

Cons:

The entrance has the beautiful old school look but the rooms are more like Motel 8. The room was outdated and the beds were really firm. Toilet was super low to sit on and no vent in the bathroom but there was a cool room heating light with a timer.

Good but definitely need to come down on price or do some updates to the hotel to make up for that price
Pros:

The area the hotel is downtown is the best super close to everything and so was the pool and the spa also loved having multiple restaurants/bars in the hotel as well also the views from the room also the customer service your employees gave me and my wife was the best but that pool and spa was amazing

Cons:

Wallpaper peeling, hole in the wall in my room, elevator was smelly and needed cleaning terribly jets didn’t work in hot tub

Dirty, lack of staff, dirty laundry in hall, everything look dirty over all. Hot tub was closed, pool bathroom was disgusting. Very overpriced. Was given the WiFi passcode on our check in card, unable to read it. Tried to call the front desk they never answered. I walked down and she wrote it down again, once again unable to read it. They acted like I was bothering them. I called to report some things to the manager, and the fact that I felt our stay wasn’t great, they said they would give me a partial refund. I have still not received that over a month later!

Excellent weekend!
Pros:

We were celebrating a Christmas present getaway to each other and my birthday. When we got there, we found out that we had been upgraded to a corner King suite on the 6th floor of the Tower. Great room! We have stayed at Park Place before and we will be back! We love the location and the staff members are amazing!

Overall- our stay was great. Becky at the front desk was wonderful! She caught the feeling that we weren’t getting what

How close it was to downtown and the beautiful views.

Cons:

We did not get the correct room the first night. We booked a king room, we received 2 queens and the water did not get warm in our bathroom so were unable to shower the first night.

Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Avoid.
Pros:

The location was great to so close to downtown Traverse city.

Cons:

Unfortunately, this property looks nothing like the photos advertised. The pictures and pricing suggest a luxury experience, but the reality is far from it. The hallways were in poor condition, with carpet tiles coming unglued, and bags of trash were left sitting in the corridors for extended periods of time. The entire building feels very outdated and poorly maintained.
Several of the ice machines were out of order, and when I asked the staff for assistance, they were unfriendly and unhelpful. Most concerning, there was a pile of what appeared to be dog feces left outside the elevator for quite some time without being cleaned up. I have pictures to prove all of this because I couldn't believe it.
I am not someone who typically leaves negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. This hotel seems to rely heavily on its location while neglecting basic cleanliness and upkeep. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
