Club Quarters Hotel Times Square - Midtown, New York

NOISE keep us awake all night long. We stayed at the other Club Quarter Grand Central was not like this one.
.hotel is old and the windows are not sealed well (may be) but we were like sleeping with window open: the regular noise from outside; people conversation outside the restaurant across the street, can be heard from our room on 7th flour, not to mention the noise from cars, dump trucks, the night working on construction by the hotel. it was a sleepless night

Bedroom was next to a Noisy main street without double glazing and aircon was very loud.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was an extremely disappointing experience, and I would not recommend it based on the service and room conditions we experienced.

We stayed for three days, and nobody came to clean our room (only once) The room itself was considerably smaller than it appeared in the pictures, and the so-called window hardly deserves to be called a window. The bed was also too small, making the room even less comfortable than expected.

We had to request a blanket, only to find that it had not been provided when we needed it. After an exhausting day, we had to call and message the hotel just to have someone bring it to our room. These are basic things that should not require repeated requests from guests.

However, what disappointed us most was the way the staff handled a simple request on my birthday, October 10. I asked for a candle, and the receptionist initially acted as though they would be happy to help, even asking what kind of cake I would like and creating the impression that they might arrange something. After discussing it with another staff member, we were told that they would follow up with us. Nobody ever did. Not even a simple explanation or a final answer.

When we later encountered the receptionist, she asked us to stop so she could address our concerns. Unfortunately, the entire conversation amounted to repeatedly saying, “We understand, we understand.” That was it. No explanation, no apology that meaningfully addressed the situation, no proposed solution, and absolutely no effort to make things right. Repeating that you understand a guest’s concerns is not the same as actually addressing them. She mentioned her manager will follow up and no one did!!!!

Honestly, the few staff members we interacted with were the worst part of our experience at this hotel. Their handling of these situations demonstrated a disappointing lack of professionalism, communication, and genuine hospitality.

The rooms are small but they are well designed.

If you are going to New York, you are probably going to be eating out anyway but there isn’t a bar or restaurant in the hotel for guests. There is however a nice area behind reception for you to eat food if you’re getting it delivered.
