Very comfortable well appointed stay in centre of town
Pros:

Very well refurbished rooms over modern bar in central location. Very comfortable bed, new, modern furnishings. Very modern bathroom/shower with good water pressure and temperature. Overall very successful overnight stay.

Relaxing, convenient, enjoyable. Would recommend.
Pros:

We were able to park close to The Vault, also very easy to walk to the Buxton Opera House where we were seeing The Mikado.

Cons:

Had a problem finding the entrance to the accommodation as the door was pushed back, and we didn't see the entrance.. Found it eventually.

Love Buxton, good location.
Pros:

The room was fairly small but okay for a couple of nights. Very clean, nice decor, bedding and bathroom. Bed was comfortable. There's a couple of chairs to people watch from the window. Good communication from the owners prior to arrival. No free parking but good instructions and parking on the market square was very reasonable. Close to pubs, restaurants, pavilion gardens, and the opera house. We stayed during the week, so we didn't experience the late night club below, which is mentioned by the owner. .

Cons:

It was quite warm when we stayed, and we couldn't figure out how to open the windows as we didn't want to damage the blinds, there was heavy condensation on the windows in the morning due to no ventilation. However, they do supply a fan. The bathroom could do with a shelf for toiletries. Other than that, all good.

Pros:

Great location, super modern room nicely decorated with a powerful shower.

Cons:

It was noisy at night, however this had been communicated well beforehand so we knew to expect this, so can’t complain.

Clean, modern and comfy room but take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
Pros:

Clean, well equipped room. Comfy bed.

Cons:

Booking.com sent an email to say the bar below the rooms, had live music until 2pm. My husband slept well but I didn’t sleep until bar customer’s left after 2pm, however it was a Saturday night and England had just won their World Cup match.

Overall good stay
Pros:

Nicely decorated room, easy instructions for checking in and overall clean room. Nice little touches like earplugs and sleep mask.

Cons:

Blinds let a lot of light in so could do with some curtains being added, located above a pub and on the high street which was stated but loud music from pub until 2am and nosey again by 8am by street noise so wouldn’t recommend if you want a early night or are a light sleeper.

Nice rooms in good location.
Pros:

Good location. Nice room. Comfy bed. Lovely towels.

Cons:

Just a little more thought would have made it perfect. Fan and kettle positioned with no access to plug. On one of the hottest days of the year a bottle of Buxton water would have been a welcome addition as would a sheet on the bed - much too warm for a duvet! Two emails with information about access and facilities were received the day after our arrival and would have been useful before. (We did, however, receive prior messages regarding the parking situation which was helpful.)

Pros:

Lovely room. The hotel was easy to find and the instructions were really helpful. The shower was super. I intend to stay there again soon.

Cons:

Nothing it was all good. I did find the TV a bit complicated but that would be my fault. By the way I did not grade the staff as it was unstaffed and self check in.

Great place to stay in the center of Buxton
Pros:

Staff were great, the location is great and the room was really nice. Comfy bed, nice and clean throughout and good bathroom with nice shower. Some of the plug sockets have usb C And A Charing point, Free WiFi is always a bonus. The decor was done really well.
There were lock boxes for the keys for easy entry and exit which made check-in/out a doddle.Overall a great place to stay if you don't mind a bit of late night noise.

Cons:

You do get pre warned about the noise as it is above a pub. This didn't bother us as we were out late anyway. The noise in the morning is still noticeable from the road outside but just a minor issue. You do get supplied a eye mask and earplugs which was a nice touch. The heat in the room was stifling. There was a fan but this only helped a little. Not sure if the windows opened or not but couldn't open them. Again only a minor issue as we were out most of the time and the weather was unusually hot
