Cons:

There was a strange smell upon entering the facility; we suspected it was from shoes removed at the entrance. The beds were clean but very uncomfortable. And what was that carpet in the room? Who knows how many years' worth of dirt it carried? Walking on it barefoot was incredibly uncomfortable. Not to mention the dried, compressed lizard I found under the bed. There were some previously trimmed beard clippings in the bathroom sink. The entertainment venue across from the facility plays very loud music until late at night.

A great value stay in Singapore
Pros:

The beds were so comfy. Shower was powerful and everywhere was clean. Breakfast was simple but plentiful before a busy day exploring Singapore. Great location for MRT.

Cons:

We had a family room on level 3 and the noise from the bar across the road was insane. The hostel itself zero complaints but the noise coming thru made the nights loooong!
