Amazing location and superb views. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast and we had a lovely evening meal too. Hope to return to spend a little longer in the area.
Wasn't able to stay long enough.
Beautiful setting lovely stay
Nice old fashioned inn with lovely staff and excellent food
Friday night the bar was busy and very noisy
The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The location was very pretty and had a beautiful view. The historic pub is characterful. The breakfast was excellent.
My room was delightful in character but quite small. Ok for one person, but when my husband and dog joined me we were a little tight for space.
It’s in a beautiful setting looking over a valley. It’s a charming property - plenty of stone and traditional wood furniture. Really charming.
Not much
The Room was spacious with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. Best night sleep!.Evening meal and breakfast was exceptional. Menu and quality of food and service was just the best. Host were very welcoming.
There was absolutely nothing i didnt like.
Location, friendly welcome, excellent food, value for money
nothing
Fabulous, friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for the customers and were very friendly.
Perhaps to provide more than 2 pillows for a double room.
The beer garden views
The Harp In is a beautiful traditional Inn with stunning views from the bedroom and the beer garden.
The welcome from all the staff, a great dinner menu (which didnt disappount with the food we ordered) and great ales made this a cosy bolt hole over a few days walking the local hills.
We opted for the room with a seperate bathroom in favour of having a tub rather than a shower, which was a lovely long bath with views of the garden. Dressing gowns were provided for our modesty when going from our bedroom.
A really relaxing stay and we hope to be back, would certanly recommend.
Not alot, we had great weather and got to enjoy the beer garden and beautiful views before dinner after a days walking !
Food is out standing, amazing views and staff.
Breakfast needed more items like fruit .Only one toilet roll in room would at least expect 1 morr in case you run out, which alsmost happened.
Lovely location and friendly staff
Rooms small and a little tired
Had a lovely stay, staff were friendly and pub was cosy and warm. Accommodation was great and food was fantastic both dinner and breakfast. Would highly recommend.
The only downside for me was bathroom - I would have preferred frosted glass for a bit more privacy. That said, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
Lovely little gem in a beautiful area.
Owners are so friendly and accomodating.
