We had a lovely stay all round. Great owners and staff, room was comfy, breakfast was tasty and the location is stunningly beautiful. Can't wait to return! Thank you.
The location was absolutely stunning, views to die for, you could not ask for a more quaint village setting. Staff were really friendly as well as the locals but the best bit was the food, we are still talking about it now. Superb!
Freindly hosts, great view, comfy bed, old building with character
Unfortunately they're was a stag do on keeping me awake but no fault of the host just my luck.
Warm, friendly and very welcoming. The staff were extremely helpful ensuring a wonderful stay. Great food, atmosphere and surrounds.
Excellent food and friendly helpful staff. Spacious room with a beautiful view.
I was not made aware that breakfast was not included in the price.

The room was cosy, clean and comfortable.
Lovely dinner and breakfast.
Superb location with mountain views.
So much character, great food, lovely atmosphere. Don’t miss a quick visit to the old church next door.
The toilet and heated towel rail were quite close together and a bit awkward.
All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the pub was welcoming, warm, happy. Everywhere was very clean, the decor was simple and lovely. The food was excellent.
Everything was good
What a beautiful Inn. We received a very warm welcome from Martin and Mel and we're able to check our bags in early. After an energetic walk up Hergest Ridge, we returned to find all thr pretty christmas tree lights on and the fire roaring, it all looked so inviting. Our room (number 1) was perfect, very comfy bed and stunning views of the valley. We enjoyed a wonderful meal by the fire in the evening and breakfast in the morning was spot on. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the summer.
There was nothing we didn't like! Martin and Mel are the perfect hosts for owning and running this lovely old Inn. I just wish we lived down the lane...!!
Our second stay. A really nice place to stay , pleasant rooms, friendly and efficient staff, very congenial atmosphere. The food is really good, imaginative and very well executed, ll
Nothing
Beautiful location, lovely old inn with great accommodation, excellent food and friendly team . Would thoroughly recommend it and will definitely be back.
Nothing - all good !
We liked the picturesque setting and the cozy room. It was warm and comfortable with lots of nice rustic features.
We didn’t like the noise that travelled from the pub downstairs into the Room above but other than this, it was quiet after 11pm
We didn’t like how our bathroom had lots of dead flies in the bath on arrival. Somebody cleaned them up, but the matter wasn’t dealt with very well. We were offered another room, but we liked our room so wanted to sleep there. We were hoping for a complimentary drink or a slight discount for the discomfort but they didn’t offer any alternatives and the room wasn’t cheap so we felt a bit let down by the overall service.
Beautiful location, friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food and drink.
Rooms need a little freshen up but I suppose that goes with the age of the place.
