The West End Flats

Was in town for a wedding and stayed three nights at the West End Flats. Had a great stay. It was me, my wife, our baby and dog. Reasonably priced and great location.

Parking was easy, great location. Time to upgrade the towels and bedding. The house cleaner needs to put more attention in n the shower area.

At first wasn’t sure when we arrived but we’re so surprised at how great the apt was and how easy it was to use their system. And a great brewery on site. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel was very unique, an old school modernized into a great hotel. Close to downtown with great restaurants. We walked downtown and got uber back to hotel. Would stay again!

Nice clean and spacious

We were very pleased with how nice and clean everything was. Even the hallways smelled fresh and clean. We could not hear people in the units beside or above us which made for restful nights. The units were nicely furnished with a complete kitchen and shower tub. Being pet friendly, we were able to bring our cats who really enjoyed the big windows. The location is convenient to downtown Roanoke which allowed us to enjoy the local restaurants and even a brewery, A Few Old Goats, is attached and has a nice open patio space to enjoy an evening ale. The Host was extremely friendly and accessible making us feel like valued guests. I would recommend this location to family & friends.

The size of the unit is great. Everything worked properly. It is a great location, close to downtown, there is even a brewery on property.

Very comfortable and well furnished apartment that served our trip needs extremely well.

Always a pleasant stay here. Huge tvs and massive sq. footage for a low price. However, they could offer better towels. These are some old towels I would not use on my body if i was at home.

The apartment has an "industrial" decor. The floor is cement (and cold) and the rooms are very darkly decorated. It had a man-cave feel to it. It was definitely not the cleanest, as hair was in the bathroom in the tub and on the washer/dryer. The floor was so sticky we had to wash our shoes after we left. The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment is spacious with huge TVs in the living and bedrooms. Smoke detectors were going off in multiple apartments on our floor until midnight - this was unfortunate!

I was in apt 102 and the door to the bathroom facing the kitchen got jammed and I couldn’t open it when I was inside. I thought the second door was just a closet lol but luckily it led to the bedroom and I could leave.
Also I felt like the booking process could have been clearer about filling out the form in order to be sent access codes.

Great place. I love the small apartment feel. Kitchen was awesome.

Unique property. Very comfortable. Full kitchen. Nice to have brewpub on property. Very walkable to downtown.
