Unpleasant accusing staff

I booked and stayed on April 11th. At the check-in at 5:00 pm the front desk manager told me that a late checkout was possible till 3:00-4:00 pm on the next day. I called from my room at about 9:30 pm to confirm the late checkout and was told that it was only possible till 1:00 pm the next day. The night duty manager said he had checked with the earlier on duty colleague and then said “no one told you that you can checkout at 4:00”. I was taken aback by this accusation, and no matter how much I clarified I was told that I had heard wrong. As a result I had to change my flight and my whole programme of work and travel and was put through much inconvenience. I had to checkout at 7:30 am because of the altered flight schedule and even told the morning front desk manager about this issue.

One can understand communication error or trainees not knowing the rules, but an apology would have been better than accusing the customer of lying. Extremely disappointed.

There were lot of noise from outside. It would have been better if they put sound proof glasses. Also the food spread in the breakfast was quite average.
