Pros:

Gardens and staff are lovely and the atmosphere of the hotel is homely and friendly.

Cons:

The historic house is almost hidden under all the contemporary extensions

Pros:

Beautiful property and gardens . Very clean and staff were very friendly and professional . Breakfast to suit every palate. Highly recommend . Beautiful wedding venue

The shower/wet room ,water slow to go down the drain.

Pros:

The breakfast was just ok. Buffet style. Would have expected more cooked to order dishes on the menu. Toast offered was just sliced pan instead of a nice sourdough.

Cons:

We booked a superior room. It had a view over the carpark, no fridge or robes, which I would have expected at that price. I thought it was a historical building but everything looked like new build to me. The garden was not really part of the hotel, you had to walk to it. I thought we'd be having drinks on a terrace overlooking the gardens. The food for dinner was nice but the tables didn't have tablecloths.

Pros:

Very lovely room with comfortable bed . Spotless bathroom and nice and quiet at night . Staff very friendly. First hotel I have stayed in where they had decent coffee for breakfast 👏🏻Breakfast very good with lots of homemade fair . Will definitely be returning .
