Nice bar, liked the Prosecco on arrival. Staff were lovely and carried our bags as there’s no lift. The bed was comfy and it was nice to be able to chrome cast Netflix. Perfect location near everything to explore
I was really looking forward to this having often stayed at other maximalist hotels but this didn’t hit the mark. The room was teeny tiny with no space for our luggage and us to stand up. It was so dark it was hard to get ready. The bathroom was a wet room which wasn’t luxury at all, the whole place got soaked every shower and it wasn’t very clean. The fake flowers were dusty and rooms had a musty smell as no windows that open or fresh air. Very expensive for what it was.

Absolutley everything from messages before arrival to leaving!! Bar was amazing with a fantastic cocktail menu. Rooms were comfy and uber stylish! Breakfast in bed was perfect!

Fantastic location and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a break with my partner. The staff were exceptionally attentive and welcoming. We stayed in the Classic four poster room and it was perfect for one night.
The only issue we had was with the water pressure in the room, it wasn't great however as we were only there one night it wasn't an issue we couldn't deal with.
We choose not to have breakfast during our stay. It was a good location for us and not too far from the train station.
Even though I think the hotel gave its room measurements it was very small ! The room seemed to have a bad odour of some sort and the bedding bedspread and cushions wasn’t pristine clean which was very disappointing especially due to the price we paid for a 2 night stay. When checking out we also were told we had a small bill to pay which was for 2 glasses of merlot in the bar the night before. This was a surprise has we never had drinks in the bar. Obviously this was looked into so we never had to pay that bill.
Loved the theme of 1920’s prohibition era, rooms are small we stayed in four poster classic room, it is compact but space is utilised very well, beds comfy and staff are all amazing, can’t do enough to make sure it’s a superstar stay! Would highly recommend booking the treat me like I’m famous package onto your stay works out very good value for money and who doesn’t want to feel special!
Also great location for the royal mile and lots of Edinburgh attractions worth seeing or taking part in.

The staff are incredibly friendly & very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Upon arrival we were kindly upgraded to free breakfast . We had a complimentary glass of prosecco before we headed to the room that had been decorated with balloons & a card for my husbands birthday. We had some free beers thrown in too! The room decor is stunning & the bed was very comfortable. There is a nice selection in the mini bar & the cocktails from the bar itself are exceptional. A little pricey but totally worth it & in an excellent location.

Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, kregen een drankje prosecco bij aankomst.
De douche was echt ontzettend fijn! Ontbijtje niet mogelijk maar voldoende leuke restaurants om de hoek! Verder prima voor een nachtje maar wel aan de dure kant.

De kamer was best prijzig, we dachten aan de foto's te zien dat we een andere kamer kregen maar dat was niet het geval. Het was een kleine kamer waar je net in lopen kan, de douche en bed bereiken kan. Het hotel zowel binnen als buiten deed ons denken aan een nachthotel/lovers room een soort hotel voor een one night stand vibe... We waren niet de enige die dit dachten toen we andere mensen tegewamen in dit hotel. Dit kwam voornamelijk door de rode lichten en inrichting van de kamer. Airco kon niet uit, het was erg koud in de kamer. Verder jammer dat er geen optie naar ontbijt was, dit is hier na grootte ook niet mogelijk.
Small rooms but staff was sooooo friendly I’ve never stayed in place like that. They took it to the next level and they set the bar really high now.
