The peace and comfortability
First of this hotel is neat and beautiful in a very serene environment but my stay was more like I begged for the booking someone will never believe I actually paid for this booking.
First I was checked in to a room on the ground floor with a very horrible bathroom. I didnt notice it at first but going in there the toilet was messy, there was millipede on the floor. I just managed through the night and asked to be moved to another room.
The second room 601 was the best I stayed for 2days in my 5days stay at this hotel before I was politely asked to move to 605 to accommodate another customer's request for a joint room — this request was I had no problem with.
Unfortunately, I was moved to yet another bad room (605) - the network was bad in that room and I was working remotely 😑 I couldn't get any work done I had to repeatedly come downstairs to take calls.... the basic intercom, working tv where not functional in the room. The AC in the room kept leaking water so I turned it off then mosquitoes rained down on me.
I couldn't sleep through the night because of the noise from the neighboring apartment air conditioner that kept going off and on through the night. To be honest, this night has to be my worst hotel experience, cause I basically wasted money and didn't get the value for it. Literally, I decided to write this review at 4am on the night in question, after struggling to sleep all night.
Tomorrow morning I will request once more again, for yet another change of room. It is disappointing honestly. I think this hotel is well suited for excellence they need to fix their rooms better.
Overall the staffs and the managers were great, asides the first guy that added additional 1,000NGN to my food bill the 1st night I was only able to find this out by repeating the same order the next couple of days. Never met him again but this is a bad attitude.
Joy at the Reception was so nice
It's a cheap hotel and very far from town. Only two staff were on duty. It functions like a guest house or something. Not a standard hotel
The staff and services. facilities very poor
The environment was serene, clean, and comfortable.
The shower was bad. I had to fill the bathing bucket with a cut shower hose.
Good location. AC water heater and fridge worked.
Their facilities used to be quite good. It's been poorly managed recently. Only one receptionist doing everything. Bathroom walls peeling, some lights not working. One room really stank of tobacco, worn towels
The male staff who took orders for my food intentionally tried to steal from me by hiking the price
