The atmosphere, the authenticity, the fact that the people at Hotel Meisser really care.
It’s amazing. Almost impossible to explain. First is the village - a tiny, ancient, beautiful location with graffiti decorated houses. Then there is the magic of the hotel. It is so characterful and charming. Walls and ceilings are carved timber. The dining room is stunning. The lounge is comfortable especially with the fire going. Food is superb for dinner and breakfast. Staff are delightful. It ‘s unique.

Such a stunning location, a peaceful and unspoilt village among meadows of wild flowers. Staff were really helpful and friendly. And all meals delicious.

Not applicable - but because we arrived late they left sandwich - which was lovely
n/a too busy working
Breakfast was great with lots of variety. I will say that you had to get there early to get the best bread selection. The breads/croissants did not appear to be replenished midway through the fast hours. Dining room amazing. Food great. Staff personable. Loved eating outside and the service was good out there. Our room was beautiful and comfortable.
Could not figure out how to get the room nightlights to come on. Perhaps there could be some instructions. You might consider an evening dress code in the dining room. Too many people in shorts and tee shirts, especially on weekends.
very quaint, beautiful and authentic decor, great
no elevator, but they helped with my heavy luggsge do was ok.
This is a wonderful place. The village is just amazing with superb views over the mountains and amazing architectural features. The interiors of the hotel are a wonderful mixture of old original features and added modern touches to ensure comfort. The food in the restaurant is also very good. It’s a hotel which has been in the same family for years and years and this really adds to the experience. Highly recommended.
What a perfect hotel! It's quaint, pristine, romantic, perfectly situated overlooking amazing mountains and has a fabulous restaurant. It's a Swiss Boutique hotel with wonderful staff who helped us with basics like understanding the menu to recommending fantastic hikes in the immediate area and it's surroundings. A truly memorable hotel off the beaten track. We plan on returning someday and highly recommend.
We stayed for 4 days to ski in nearby Scuol. The hotel is in pristine condition and the rooms are large, newly renovated and have all the amenities you need. The included breakfast was fantastic and the owner and staff are friendly and very helpful! We will be back next year!
Wonderful location with prime hiking and biking trails. The owner couple Meisser prepare exclusive dinners every night and will personally greet and serve the most delicious local foods. Views of surrounding mountains are stunning. It is pricy but a trip you won't forget.
