price was over what i was getting, if i was having someone in my house, i'd make sure it was clean and tidy

Everything. This Indian owner is a liar and thief. ÐO not BOOK!!!!!Avoid this property!!!!!!!. Information on the website about property is misleading. The indian guy will stay with you in the property...maybe he needs friends or waiting for oportunity and women's like me. When you booking your room you see nothing about owner staying there. Only when you knock to the door he will inform you he will be sleeping upstairs. And when you want to leave and cancel he will not give your money back. Probably that's how he is paying for morgage for that new house. Btw no tv and shared kitchen...you be lucky if you don't have to share bathroom with this dirty arshole.

The advertising was quite misleading. We thought it was a seperate apartment with maybe a big shared lounge somewhere on the premises..we didn't care about lounging. But if you read the advert...it says each unit contains a fully contained kitchen, with a private bathroom.....this is advertised on booking.com.....The actual situation was, you walk into the house owners lounge, go upstairs to an average bedroom....and walk down their hallway and use a random house bathroom. Then you go downstairs, into the owners lounge and use their private/shared lounge and kitchen, which the owners also use. Nothing hotel like at all. It's someone's personal house. This is not the kind of accommodation we are looking for at all on a site like booking.com, it'd be more suitable advertised on air b&b. It was totally awkward. What do you do strolling on in at midnight? We felt like we'd have to be super quiet, like sneaking home after sneaking out at 16 & not waking Mum & Dad.
We emailed the hosts after checking in & explained that we weren't comfortable and felt really mislead by their advertising..they then replied with worse than an actual hotel, saying they had a no refund policy. So we paid $200 for a crappy bedroom in someone's super tiny house and didn't stay.
It also smelt like an Indian takeaway restaurant.
Honestly the worst experience we have ever had and would not recommend to anyone, unless they are looking for a personal sleepover at someone's house. Very disappointing. And got totally ripped off, and they happily took $200 for absolutely nothing. We have had really good, spacious hotels for that price, with completely private amenities.

it was not what I wanted it was sharing a home with owners no tv fridge full I think it false advertising on web site hosts were nice

This establishment is a home stay not a motel, which should be made clearer on Booking.com
We were driving around looking for a motel not a private house and there was no name or sign out the front.
There was No Television
No bedside lamps or tables
There was Dirty dishes and pots in the shared kitchen
The Outside table needed to be wiped down so we could eat
No privacy as the owners were coming in & out of our area. Even into our bedroom whilst we were asleep so they could turn the bathroom light off, which we had left on because there was no bedside lamps.
Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned
No hot water for a shower in the morning

Arrived to a room with a bed that wasn't even made, linen was dirty.
No desk or chair to sit and work at.
Not even a bedside table, just two bases with mattresses pushed together in corner of room.
Smell of curry lingered in the house.
