Bambú Corner - Casa Consciente

It was such a blessing to stay at Bamboo House 🤍 From day one, it felt more like a home than a place to stay.

Marie is truly an amazing host, super responsive, and ready to help in a second. She genuinely cares about everyone and somehow manages to make each person feel seen and welcome.

The Casa itself is amazing, super cosy, very clean, and just a 1-minute walk to the beach, which honestly felt like a dream. The rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully set up, and I have to mention this because it really mattered to me: the mattress and pillows were incredibly comfy. I slept so well every single night.

What makes Bamboo House really special is the sense of community!!! Marie always tries to bring everyone together with activities and shared moments. Having Christmas dinner and New Year’s dinner all together is something I’ll never forget.
I made beautiful connections and friendships that I know will last a lifetime.

I’m so grateful I chose Bamboo House and I already know I’ll be back. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, this is it!

Puedo decir que mi experiencia en Bambu fue de 10. No solo por la estupenda iniciativa de Casa Consciente que impulsó Maria, sino porque efectivamente lo sentí Casa. Solo tengo buenas palabras hacia Maria y tuve la suerte de coincidir conviviendo con personas increibles y acogedoras que hicieron de mi solo-trip nada solitario. Ganas de volver a Puerto Escondido y a Bambu.

Muy bonito

Me gustó la armonía de los habitantes de la casa. La cercanía con la playa y que la zona de restaurantes está muy cerca. Pero lo que más me gustó es que aunque viajé solo, me sentí acompañado todo el tiempo por Marie y los demás. El Internet me funcionó perfecto para trabajar.

Todo me gustó, realmente se siente como un hogar, el proyecto es maravilloso pues trabaja con la sustentabilidad, me encanta 💙
Todo está super limpio y cómodo, la playa está súper cerca y la vibra es muy bonita.

l'endroit est vraiment cool , le principe aussi (faut être dans le mood) "maison en bambou" à des fins écologiques , les gens sont gentils surtout la patronne et c'est jolie.

If you’re looking for a place to find a community and live in harmony with nature - you’ve found it! Stayed for a week after extending the original booking and would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to return home :)

Todo. Estuvimos súper cómodos. El lugar, María anfitriona 10, el proyecto sostenible, muy bien comunicado… un lugar perfecto y unas vibes maravillosas!!

Bambú was absolutely incredible. The house is so well planned, and beautifully decorated. The owner, Maria, is so lovely, very friendly and helpful. The vibes in the casa were immaculate.

Maria is the most welcoming and nicest host we’ve ever had. Her eco-friendly apartments are a testament to her vision, and we wholeheartedly support it. She went above and beyond, with e.g. recommendations for food, rental cars, surfboards and surf spots—truly everything we needed. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, and super cozy. Also, her spot is perfectly located away from the busy streets of la punta, but just 3min from the beach. Upon our arrival she even went to pick us up at the airport eventho our group arrived on different days. The first night was particularly hot outside, Maria noticed without us asking and promptly bought additional fans to ensure our comfort. Her thoughtfulness made our stay even more special. Maria is just awesome and we will for sure come back.

The people make a place special, and I loved all the people I met there. Maria welcomed me and explained everything really well so I was immediately comfortable with the eco nature of casa bambú. The room was spacious and I was upgraded to the room with a hammock on a balcony - it was a great place to relax and read a book. The toilet and shower, while in a communal area, were reserved for your private use during your stay which I liked. Location was great, I loved the little cafe outside to start my mornings and my short walk to the beach for sunsets. No complaints about this beautiful little place, make sure to try Lalo’s ceviche! Thank you to everyone there, I will be sure to return!
