Location is perfect for exploring. Staff is nice. Pancakes were the best we had in Vietnam.
Not soundproof at all. Street noise can be very loud especially when music is playing. Room feels a bit dated and damp.

The location was good. Very much in the middle of the action in the Hanoi Old Quarter.
The room we were given was not the one we selected when booking. The photos were completely different which meant our room, a superior double apparently, only just about fitted a double bed which was pushed against the wall. When we asked to change rooms the staff informed us that all rooms were fully booked. This was clearly not the case as the correct size room on our floor remained prepared and empty all evening. There were very unsafe electrics in the shower room - mains electrics next to the shower that were joined by twisting the wires together and wrapping in a bit of insulating tape. In summary, although relatively cheap the photos on booking.com do not represent the actual quality of the hotel. Corridors and stairs were not fit for purpose in the event of an emergency. I would avoid.
Position in the city centre, kindness of the staff, especially William who helped us a lot with the organising of a 3-days cruise at Halong/ Bai Tu Long Bay and the pick up in Ninh Binh; and Mi, super kind, helpful, smiling and empathetic 🙏🏻

Cependant, je tiens à souligner que le personnel est très agréable et serviable, ce qui reste un point positif.
Malheureusement, cet hôtel a été mon premier durant mon séjour et cela a été une déception au regard du rapport qualité-prix. Je ne m’attendais pas à une chambre sans fenêtre.
