Pros:

We stayed 2 nights in the Stone Arch Inn. At arrival, we were met by a very helpful gentleman. He guided us to a gated private parking on the back side of the house. The entrance to the house was through a locked gate and a beautiful vine covered patio. The room on the second floor was cosy and clean, with good beds and air-conditioning. The bathroom was in the corridor. Still, it was kind of private, for we were the only guests on that floor. The location of Stone Arch Inn is perfect. It's in the historical centre of Gjirokastër only a short, but steep walk away from the old bazaar, restaurants, and a livid nightlife. Still, you had peace and silence in the house. Everything worked well with the booking and communication. Very good value for your money! All together, we enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

Cheap , clean and traditional
Pros:

Very central parking, off the road which was good considering the roads are very busy. Very clean. Owners were lovely. There was a washing machine so after 3 weeks of travelling was very welcome. Excellent value

Cons:

Nothing really it was as advertised - maybe a kettle would make a little difference.

Pros:

Location is great and near the old town. The hosts are lovely people and very helpful and welcoming

Cons:

Location is great but a bit difficult to find. I would recommend to reach out to the owners to get instructions before getting stuck in the narrow streets of the old town. Guest house is a bit dated but all facilities are there and working.

Pros:

A traditional house, 5 minutes from the Bazaar (historic center) of Gjirokaster. Very comfortable room, perfectly clean. The hospitality of the family made us very comfortable. This was our favourite accomodation in Albania.
