Hôtel très cosy
Pros:

La chambre et l’hôtel de manière générale sont cosy, nous avons séjourné dans plusieurs hôtels Plus étoilé durant notre voyage au Japon mais celui est mon préféré en terme d’esthétique. L’hôtel est petit mais décoré avec goût mélangeant le style japonais et moderne, notre chambre était bien agencé.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner n’offre pas de choix, il y a deux hot dog et un un petit bol de ramen, cette pas mauvais mais succinct. Et il faisait trop chaud dans la chambre, nous n’avons pas réussi à régler le thermostat

Kyoto perfect!
Pros:

Nice room layout, all we needed! Quiet, easy access but not on main road, maybe half a block from main street. Perfect location, short walk and quick bus ride to the downtown shopping area, major train station super close as well. Across the street from a lovely shrine and a short walk to the best castle, Nijo-jo. Highly recommend the extra fees to access the Castle tours. The Nagoya Castle and Osaka Castle good too, but this one allows for greater access and this hotel in a great location!
Excellent breakfast options just steps away. Took day trip to Nara Park to play with deer and explore. Took day trip to (1000) Senbon Torii gates - amazing!

Cons:

We didn't have enough time in the area, so much to see and do!

I will be staying at a least one Minn hotel every trip.
Pros:

Super modern as all the Minn properties are. The location for this one is really cool though, in a super quiet neighbourhood next to Nijo-jo castle, looks like a traditional machiya house from outside. The bathroom was insane. Amazing waterfall-like shower. The pressure and heat are so good. The bath is big too. There was a wooden gate before our room door with stone flooring, which was a nice touch; a good spot to put your shoes and umbrellas. Very comfy beds as expected and the lighting control is very nice.
