Location, warm and welcoming stay
Pros:

The staff are incredible, no worries there, very honest and you safe, warming and welcomed. The daily cleaning is lovely and not intrusive at all. Use your door tag, and they work around you. The little spa next door is convenient and gives a nice enough massage, not 5 star rooms or setting but has a nice kind and friendly local vibe...wecwent nearly every day. Shellac removal takes a long time as it's all done by hand filing and buffing, not the best removal technique for nail health, but really happy with end result. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely relaxing stay.

Cons:

Probably due to the rain, our room smelt mouldy and was damp. On returning home, the mould smell in all our suit case items was definitely there. However, a good wash and hung out in the dry weather all sorted.

The pool bar wasn't open, now that was disappointing, to be honest, that's why I chose the hotel. To be fair, however, the weather wasn't the best, so understanding as to why. It would have been good for the bar staff to just check in on the pool area and offer drinks as you had to get on and out of the pool in your swimmers and into the bar area wet with slippery tiles to get drinks.

Breakfast was clean, tidy, and welcoming, and had all you need. It just wasn't to my husband's liking flavour wise. This is not a negative experience, just personal preference, so not a reason not to choose the hotel.

Tiles are slippery in pool access rooms, maybe some non-slip mats as I used pool towels to walk on to mitigate slips.

Personally, I can't stand the shower wands, and the bathrooms are older. However, impeccably clean.

Good value for the money
Pros:

Location, staff very friendly, breakfast good value.

Cons:

This is a personal preference but I don't like a soft mattress. There was a pillow topper on the mattress which made it way too soft for me.
The shower stall could use a bit of a makeover but otherwise okay.

Charged for a broken glass spoiled a good stay
Pros:

Nice swimming pool. Large comfortable bed. lots to choose from for breakfast.

Cons:

One small water glass was broken in the bathroom. We were charged a crazy amount for something that costs so little and was an accident. This is not a good way to treat customers. Suggest you get some plastic glasses that are safer too.

Great place for the price with fantastic staff
Pros:

Fantastic location on Garlic Lane. Walking distance to beach for beer and sunset. Heaps of restaurants, warungs and night life near by. Good honest money change near by. Market stalls and spa just outside front door. Would stay again.

Cons:

The room I had the shower is over the bath. As I am an older solo traveller it was concerning should you slip/fall when attempt to get out of bathtub after showing. I believe they are renovating rooms and removing bath tubs which will be fantastic.
