Beautiful, out of the way location was very relaxing off the main drag.

Cons:

No breakfast, despite a full restaurant on site? Would have been a great brunch spot. Patio was beautiful, but had terrible biting bugs!! The restaurant was also understaffed. Those kids were literally running up and down the stairs to serve people, like someone is going to get hurt. There was one older man in the afternoon who had a very bad attitude towards myself and another guest who walked up to the bar. It sounded like he had ordered a limoncello martini thru the app, and was coming to pick it up. The server literally said to him, “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Not the way to talk to a customer. There was also no one at the front desk when we got there, and we had to stand around waiting. For a venue that costs almost $1000 to stay for the weekend, I would expect better service. The room was comfortable, but not luxurious, by any means. I would stay again for the location and the beach, but would probably dine elsewhere, even though the food was good. The pool was also ice cold. Tried to take a dip after a hot hike day, and couldn’t even get in!!

The property. Front desk and the text message service.

Cons:

Waitress at the restaurant. Worst service ever. She didn’t check on us during our meal. Another waitress helped us because she didn’t come back for a long time. She ignored us. We were speaking to her when she placed the dessert menu down and she walked off. No eye contact. Ugh. I can’t recall her name, but she was a full sized blonde woman.

Nice fall weekend getaway
Pros:

larger than normal room with plenty of storage, staff was wonderful, loved attached restaurant and bar, which is perfect after a long day site seeing.I would definitely stay here again for a longer stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Cons:

Restaurant parking in front of rooms, I could see this being an issue during busy times . Early closing hours for hot tub on weekends. Both are definitely not deal breakers, just an observation.

We departed morning of our 2nd day.
Pros:

Nice and quiet; nice pool, great views.

Cons:

The change in floor level in our room. I fell coming frm bath area to sleeping area due to the 6 or 7 inch unusual drop in floor height. I was not injured but startled and almost fell a second time. We would never stay in a room with this dagwrous feature.

Pros:

We recently stayed at Bayside Resort in Lake George and had a wonderful time. The resort is right next to the beach, which made everything so relaxing and convenient. They also have a pool and jacuzzi, plus outdoor tables where you can barbecue or make a fire with friends. There’s even a volleyball court and a short hiking trail, so there’s plenty to do without ever leaving the property.

The Italian restaurant on-site was excellent. I recommend making a reservation if you plan to dine in, but we ordered takeout and ate at the outdoor tables with a beautiful view of the lake—it was such a nice experience.

The resort itself was very clean, the staff were friendly, and our room was comfy and spotless. The pillows could be improved a little, but that really comes down to personal preference and didn’t affect our stay. Overall, Bayside Resort offers a great mix of relaxation, activities, and beautiful scenery, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lake George.

It was the first time visiting the area, ill definitely be back! Simply beautiful!
Pros:

Food was amazing! Happy hour was a bonus.

We upgraded to a cabin. The standard room was very small. We would not have enjoyed being in that room for very long

Beautiful location

Cons:

Restaurant was closed for the season so you had to drive to go eat or grab a drink. The 2 nights were pretty pricy to not have a restaurant or bar open for the year. I feel like the stay should have been discounted. Also the bed is extremely uncomfortable
