This beloved local pub has authentic charm and genuine hospitality. Amazing rooms, a proper bar, a lovely garden, and staff who actually care about you. Great choice of drinks and food. I love visiting and would stay again.

Cons:

I had no issues. Everything was perfect. Clean rooms with a great bathroom. Staff are very friendly.

Good food; great breakfast. EV chargepoints are ideal.
Pros:

Good food and large portions in this genuine village pub that is popular with locals. Excellent breakfast.
Ideal facility for EV drivers, as there are two PodPoint AC chargepoints, with no overstay fees, so you can leave the car to charge to 100% overnight. And the tariff is a very reasonable 50p/kWh.

Cons:

Initially there was no heating in the room and it was very cold (late November). But the manager quickly attended to the problem and got the heating started.

Pros:

A lovely overnight stay on the way home. The bedroom was roomy and. a large shower. The food was excellent and good value for money. Staff were very friendly. You can have a laugh and joke with them.

Cons:

Could do with a little shelf in the shower. Nowhere to put your shampoo and stuff.
