I am glad I chose this place. Clean, spacious, convenient-- a really nice experience for the price.
Pros:

Excellent location. Close to Maliboro Street, but far enough to where it's quiet, facing a sort of plaza. I like that right outside of my room every morning they had a hot coffee and tea station, as well as a water cooler and a refrigerator. I liked the layout of the hotel, too; it's like little houses. Very pleasant staff.

Cons:

I had no water pressure in the bathroom my first morning, but I told them and they fixed it right away. I had a problem with the WiFi, but they came to my room and fixed it. There were men doing renovations and hammering outside my window in the morning, but I told them to please stop, and they did.

A lovely stay and we would come back

It was lovely stay at the Villa.
We get a lots for the price we paid. The location is excellent and the property was very very clean and we get a good sleep too.

Liked the location. Only a few steps away from Malioboro Street, the most happening place in Yogyakarta. Lots of good eateries, shopping centres etc around. Very near to Railway Station

Cons:

The room. We booked what the hotel called a Standard Room, as they couldn't provide any other. The room was extremely small with absolutely no space to move around. Washroom was of the size of a big cupboard. Doors and furnitures badly needed some fresh coat of paint. Didn't have as basic feature as an intercom, toiletries were of very low quality, had to ask for a tea maker as the room had none. The hotel rooms are scattered over a wide area, and you need to walk a lot of space if you need to communicate, or get some information. Requested for a room upgrade but they couldn't accommodate that request too.

To summarise, we had a very bad experience. The so-called Standard Room was much below any acceptable standard. They should stop selling the room and shouldn't mislead customers by posting misleading information.
