Bijzondere ervaring in minder bekend stukje Bali
Pros:

Het was anders dan onze andere accommodaties in bali. Zoals de eigenaar zelf ook zegt, het is een homestay. Dat betekent dat er wat minder zelf te kiezen valt. Er is geen ontbijt- of dinermenu maar eten wat de pot schaft :-)
De kookclinic is een leuke bezigheid
Personeel is zeer behulpzaam en er kan vanalles geregeld als je wil.

Cons:

Bij de karaoke die ze op gang zetten, deden ze helaas zelf niet mee. Das jammer en voelde wat geforceerd aan. Personeel is overdag best aanwezig bij het “schoonmaken”.
Deel van ons vond het bed niet comfortabel, maar ander deel juist wel.

Para pasar una noche y ver las cascadas de los alrededores

Cerca de las cascadas.

Cons:

Está pegado a la carretera y se oye todo.
Además tienen gallinas y a las 6 de la mañana ya se las oye cacarear.
Lejos de tiendas, ATM..

DIRTY AND NEGLECTED PLACE, THE WORST YOU CAN STAY AT IN THE AREA - SITIO SUCIO Y DESCUIDADO, EL PEOR

Cons:

We stayed at this establishment because it had good ratings on Booking, but it’s all LIES. The room was dirty when we arrived, the toilet was disgusting from the previous guests, and we had to ask the manager to please clean it. The hot water didn’t work the first night, so we had a cold shower, and they make up the daily motorbike rental price to try and get more money from you. On the last day, we were out for almost twelve hours and when we came back, the room hadn’t even been cleaned. When we asked the manager, his response was that maybe the cleaning person was tired and that’s why it wasn’t done... It’s not worth staying even one night, as they make your stay in Bali anything but pleasant.


Nos quedamos en este establecimiento ya que tiene buenas puntuaciones en Booking pero es todo MENTIRA. La habitación cuando llegamos estaba sucia, la taza del váter asquerosa de los anteriores huéspedes y tuvimos que decirle al encargado que porfavor la limpiara. El agua caliente no funcionaba la primera noche y nos salió fría, internet funciona mal y se inventan el precio de lo que cuesta una moto al día para intentar sacarte dinero. El último día, además, pasamos casi doce horas fuera y, al volver, ni siquiera habían hecho la habitación. Al preguntarle al encargado su respuesta fue que quizás la persona responsable de limpiar estaba cansada y por eso no lo había hecho... No merece la pena quedarse ni siquiera una noche, ya que hacen que tu estancia en Bali sea de todo menos agradable.

Beautiful location set in a quiet hillside village. Getaway from it all.
Pros:

The eco lodge had bungalows that were well maintained and comfortable. They were set in a garden and had a pool. The food was really good local and freshly cooked. The people running the property were really lovely and spoke very good English.
