Excellent facility, save the cafe. There is no reason guests should be left with no service.
Pros:

Great location. Large, efficient, clean rooms. Friendly helpful motel staff. Easy access to rooms.

Cons:

When we entered the Astoria Cafe we were seated, brought water and a menu. There were no other customers. The server left the area and did not come back. After 20 minutes another couple and one other person entered, seated themselves and finally went behind the counter too gert their own menu. I searched the area, the kitchen and one of the women checked the restroom. After 25n minutesall of us finally left.

Welcoming and a very good price.
Pros:

We were greeted so warmly at the front desk. She was able to get us in for an early check in so we could unload our bags and continue on to our venue so when we arrived back late we could go straight to our room.

It served our purposes but we would not stay again and would not recommend it.
Pros:

The size of the room was adequate, location was ideal for our purposes. However, the phone did not work in the room, we reported it twice. The front desk was not manned frequently, the bar and restaurant were not open at night.
And we asked several times for housekeeping but never had any housekeeping during our 4 day stay. We had to ask the front desk for towels, paper supplies, trash bags. The lighting in both ceiling and lamps was dim at best.

Cons:

No phone in room, no housekeeping even upon request, had to get towels, paper products and trash bags from front desk. Only 1 ice machine had adequate ice. Restaurant not open for dinner as advertised.

Pros:

Staff were great. Lobby was recently updated and looks very nice. It appears they are in the beginning stages of updating rooms which is great because the rooms, while clean, were pretty beat up.

Pros:

The rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel seemed updated. It was above average for a moderate / low priced hotel.

Cons:

The breakfasts was amongst the worst I've seen in a hotel. They should cut the breakfast or open a pay for breakfast option.
