Early check-in was appreciated as we drove 9hrs straight and I was dead tired and the bed was comfortable, except for the black hair on a pillow.
Shower and bidet hose leaked, cigarette butts on the balcony but the room was no smoking, could hear people in the room above during the night and in the morning, around entry door not sealed, could see the bricks, cracks in the balconies, rust in the shower, restaurant not open and staff couldn't advise where to go get food. Breakfast options were limited and very strange with no explanation what was served.

Location and interior is good.
The property is modern and the space surrounding it is safe - there are no cars or bikes around. The room TVs had a good selection of channels, one which allowed us to watch the Euro’s match!
The rooms clearly aren’t used often: the pressure in the taps told their own story when they were spluttering out dirt. Whilst they were mostly clean, our room had an infestation of ants that followed us all the way to Ho Chi Minh in our bags. Said ants also found their way into our breakfast drinks!
Breakfast was not a buffet as advertised due to us being the only people staying: it was a la carte which, at first thought, seemed ideal until they charged us for coffee which would/should have been included as per the buffet offering. We were not allowed to checkout until we paid the outstanding balance of coffee which seemed ridiculous, especially considering we were told they were complimentary by the waiting staff.
We were very happy with the breakfast and the service at Sunflower. We found the location was far enough away from the busy streets but still only a few minutes walk to shops and cafes.
