Based on the pictures I expected to be staying in a classic brick hotel, not a shipping container. I should probably read more reviews next time. The price vs. service ratio is not good

When we arrived we showed the booking reservation on our phone to the lady at the front desk. She showed us the room and said the price was 2,500 som so we paid it. Later she came knocking on our room telling us we have to pay more cause we booked through booking.com. We thought we already paid the booking price so were surprised. The lady was adamant that we have to pay more, and when I explained that I showed her the booking first thing, she dismissed it and said that she didn’t have her glasses on (she didn’t have her glasses on any time when she was reading google translate off our phone either). It was very poorly handled on her side as she made a mistake. It was 9.30pm, we were exhausted so we decided to pay more - sad.
When it comes to the room - she gave us room without air conditioning (booking said there will be a/c) and when we asked her to change she was ‘surprised’ that the room didn’t have a/c and came into the room to look for it (??). Reluctantly she gave us a different room. The room was not very clean, the top sheet was stained, the bathroom door didn’t close, the shower head didn’t work and the power socket by the bed didn’t work either. There was no electric kettle, in the booking it said there will be one. Not worth the money you pay.
Only stay here if you have to.

One of the nights, I believe either the guests or the staff were speaking very loudly outside of my room, which made it hard to fall asleep.

I can’t speak to the hotel because we didn’t sleep here, however, my friend arrived before me. I expected the hotel to ask her to wait in the lobby or somewhere until I arrived about an hour later(my flight was delayed. However, the hotel owner began yelling at her, told her she wasn’t welcome there, how her hotel has many foreigners staying there and that she wasn’t welcome, using horrible language etc. They insisted there was no one with a reservation in my name and that she needed to leave the property. They didn’t even suggest that she try to call or contact me, just kicked her out immediately I guess because she is Kyrgyz.

When I arrived I went in just to ask what had happened and the woman was very kind to me, then she saw my friend standing outside of the entrance and her face went white. I asked her if we could cancel without paying a fee because we were not comfortable staying at the hotel. She insisted my friend didn’t understand her, and wanted me to come see my room. I told her I wasn’t interested. She then said maybe she is your friend but I don’t know that I can trust her and again asked me to see her room. She may not have known if she could trust my friend or not, but after 12 years of friendship I know I can trust her and even if she was completely untrustworthy she deserved more respect than what she was shown. This is a university educated woman fluent in 5 languages who runs her own hostel in the north of the country. So I wasn’t bringing in some ruffian. Absolutely unacceptable.

No chair, no wardrobe & towel is very rough . Hard wooden old type stools.

It doesn't seem well maintained and price was a little expensive for the facilities.

And very little room
