Ealing Broadway Great Stay 7-Minute Walk from the Underground

I am disgusted the room hasnt been cleaned at all there's dust everywhere massive stain on the floor someone's fag and rubbish all under the bed we've only got 2 towels for the 4 days we are here so can we have some more please, there's no hairdryer my partner put his wallet down picked it up dust was all over it I've paid £327, plus you wanted a £50 of anything is broke in the room and I'm really not happy at all is there any solutions in sorting it out

No windows no fan the room was so hot

Nobody was there to welcome guest
The platform to get deposit damage hasn’t been fair with us asking over the phone our credit card details
We lost money because property wasn’t refundable
It’s a shame

Comfortable clean quite street

1. Room selected had windows which did not open and a fan was not provided. Stay was during the heatwave and the room was unbearably hot, this room should not be in use during heat events. A fan was offered however for a fee of £80 which is just unacceptable as you can imagine we would not be able to keep whatever fan they would have provided

2. The host was useless in helping us and was not concerned for our welfare at all

3.The room was separated from another room by a wooden divider. As little as a whisper could be heard as the property is essentially a house split into rooms so as you can imagine not ideal. The other room could access our room if they wanted to by opening the divider which again is unacceptable

We were on the bottom floor. Neither of the two windows opened and there was no fan, we were in the highs of 34° when we checked in and the room was like a sauna. When we asked about a fan, customer service told us to try and open the wardrobe to see if there is one in there. We tried and it was strewed shut. They mentioned a “mechanical ventilation system” which was “installed” in the room and it was highly ineffective. We asked if there is a fan which we could have for our two nights and they then replied saying a delivery of a fan would be £80.

Later during the night around midnight a group of guests who were staying in the room next to us came back, which we came to realise that the so-called wardrobe was actually a long slither of a door in between both of our rooms. You could even see their light being on from our room and we could hear every movement and noise which was made.

After a long night due to the circumstances and not being able to sleep we woke up in the morning and headed out so we were stuck in the humid room. As we came back there were guests stuck outside which we found out they weren’t able to get in as there was an issue with the door, we tried we couldn’t either. We eventually got in however when this was brought up to customer service they weren’t really any help.

When we asked for a partial refund due to the circumstances and experience of our stay they stated they will get back to us and when we caught up with them about this they said it was non refundable.

After a long day of travelling for 8 hours you would hope the door would be pleasant however that wasn’t the case. Staff and customer service don’t care and the stay was absolutely horrible. Would not recommend to anyone.

Kitchen was ok, weird smell.
