Good for a one night stay in wine country
Pros:

Location perfect for a brief wine-related stopover.
Restaurant food good
Staff very friendly
Generous sized room with big comfy bed and bath

Cons:

Room decor somewhat tired
Breakfast adequate but no croissants left and DIY toaster was clunky
Lift was old and made alarming noises

Lovely hotel in quiet village
Pros:

Located in a quiet village. Great staff who were super friendly. Restaurant was good too. Lots of wine tasting places near by. Sancerre is 10 minutes away.

Schönes Hotel mit sehr grossen und schönen Zimmern. Sehr schöne Gegend in den Weinbergen, nahe Sancerre! Gutes, jedoch eher gehobenes Essen im Restaurant.

Pros:

The lady in the breakfast place was rude, if you didn’t speak French. She would just keep talking to you in French and then raised her hand cuz we didn’t understand her. The front desk girl was amazing.

Cons:

We didn’t get acknowledged for our dinner for 35 min. We had a reservation and just sat there then were ignored for that time.

High quality venue with a very warm welcome.
Pros:

A very warm welcome set the right tone. The room was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was very well appointed (we appreciated the towelling robes). The dinner was of high quality. A little disappointed that the bar did not stock non-alcoholic beer. The location was picturesque and interesting, in the middle of the Sancerre vineyard.

Cons:

Parking, on thé village street, was a bit haphasard. We got there early and managed to park opposite the hotel, but that facility is limited and not available to all.

Очень красивый небольшой отель в маленькой деревне в центре Франции. Всё полностью соответствует описанию. Мы останавливались на один день и остались очень довольны.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, großes sauberes Zimmer mit begehbarer Dusche. Bequemes Bett. Mitten im Ortsteil Chavignol gelegen. Exzellente Küche und toller Wein wie in einem Weingut zu erwarten. Schönes Frühstücksbuffet. Wir würden auf jeden Fall gerne wiederkommen.

Cons:

Entfernung zum eigentlichen Ortszentrum groß, man benötigt dafür ein Auto.
