Pros:

Pros:

Excellent service and great views. The corner room with mountain view is the way to go. Depending on which side you are on, you may be able to see some of the track as well. 10/10.

部屋からサーキット場が楽しめるのは、とても良かったです。ホテルのインテリアもすごくオシャレで子供も大喜びでした。スタッフさんの対応もすごくよかったです！

Cons:

もう少し、事前の説明があればいいなぁと思いました。
ホームページをみても、分からない事がたくさんあったので...。値段が高すぎると思いました。

They sold the room for 4 people when it can really accomodate three. Three of us ended up sleeping like sardines in a can - sideways on two twin beds pushed together, with a huge hole under our backs. The most uncomfortable nights in Japan. And they charge over 500EUR a night for this. No compensation, no solution seeking, ni extra bed provided, nothing.

Underwhelmed
Pros:

It’s super helpful that the hotel has a bus from the Gotemba station as the hotel is quite isolated. The staff were accommodating in rebooking our bus as needed due to the weather conditions. It’s worthwhile emailing the staff to find out the best way to the hotel as Google maps does not always give you the easiest route.

Cons:

We found the communication from the staff quite unclear when it came to the cancellation of the racetrack experience due to the weather. Fully understand as to why it was cancelled but was very disappointed that it was not communicated prior or even on arrival without further questioning on our part. We had to ask for further clarification and we did not get an email of the cancellation. Staff explained that they do not provide email cancellations and we had been given a refund and would get it in the next 48 hours. On the morning of our racetrack booking, you could actually still book through the website which we found quite bizarre. We tried to book the driving simulation instead on the day but it was fully booked.

We had this accomodation booked well in advance and changed our whole itinerary as closer to when trying to organise the driving experience we found out the race track was closed - and this was not clearly indicated on their website. After emailing they advised they were doing maintenance.

The views of Fuji however were impeccable and made it worth the stay.

Despite being a guest of the hotel you do need to pay additional to fee access the museum which is $13 AUD per person and it closes at 5 pm. This can be tricky when check-in is at 3pm.

I was underwhelmed with the room service portions and the dishes were had were satisfactory.

To be honest, I’ve been too better 4-5 star hotels and would rather put my money elsewhere. Despite being able to wake up to Fuji, there are different views and ways you can see the beautiful mountain without needing staying at the hotel.
