Perfect
Pros:

Never Uber or Bolt was needed because of central location. Everything within walking distance and the dinner and breakfast plan is perfect. Beautiful historic hotel

Cons:

Nothing against these mass tourism companies but when you spend money as an independent traveler and a bus not a boat from Viking pulls in with 100 folks. It loses some of the charm. The folks came were loud and demanding on the staff

Pros:

This was our closing night following walking the Camino. This iconic location, right next to the Cathedral, was beautiful beyond belief. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by staff and after check in we were walked to our room. Our room was large, the bathroom was amazing, and everything top! We had set up both dinner and breakfast with our reservation, and we amazed with both. Can't wait to come back!

Cons:

Nothing could have been better.

Luxury with nothing spared in magnificent 16th century grandeur.
Pros:

We felt very special in this magnificent, beautifully transformed, 16th century building - this is exactly what you want when you pay for a 5* hotel in a city as steeped in history as Santiago de Compostela. The service was exceptional, our room spacious and immaculately appointed with antique furniture, looking onto cloisters. Very comfortable beds (twins, pushed together), large bathroom with deep bath and shower, all the bathroom 'extras' you could want. Exceptional breakfast, with to-order hot food and a large buffet, including sparkling wine (if you are up to it in the morning). But one of the most appealing features was the gorgeous, sumptuously furnished corridors and sitting rooms. We felt truly pampered.

Cons:

No complaints. Luxury with nothing spared.
