Accueil exceptionnel pour les chiens, tant dans les "goodies" proposés que pour les services.

We enjoyed our stay. We will gladly be back!
Pros:

Location, restaurants options, great breakfast

Cons:

We extended our stay and had to change rooms. We were transferred to the same category room which was significantly more comfortable offering 2 toilets. For a family with two small children we appreciate more space. We were happy in both rooms but the second one was more comfortable for us.

Schönes, zentral gelegenes Hotel mit gutem Restaurantangebot
Pros:

Zentrale Lage direkt ggü. vom Bahnhof. Gute Erreichbarkeit von Sunnega Bergbahn und Gornergrat-Bahn zu Fuß.
Geräumiges Zimmer (Juniorsuite Bergblick) mit großem, sehr bequemen Bett.
Aufmerksames Personal - meistens englischsprachig (internationales Publikum). Viele gute Restaurants im Hotel; uns hat das asiat. Restaurant Myoko mit Teppan-Yaki-Grill und show-cooking besonders gut gefallen. Alles frisch zubereitet, sehr lecker!
Zigarrenlounge mit Billardtisch total gemütlich.
Ordentlicher Skikeller mit eigenem Ski-locker-Schrank.

Cons:

Neben dem Hotel ist eine riesige Baustelle, die von einem hohen Bretterzaun umgeben ist. Sieht nicht sehr hübsch aus und trübt die Ortsidylle. Wir hatten Glück, dass bei unserem Aufenthalt auf der Baustelle gerade nicht gearbeitet wurde. Daher auch kein störender Baulärm.
Der Balkon ist zwar groß und sonnig mit Blick aufs Matterhorn. Allerdings hört man bei geöffnetem Fenster schon morgens ab 9.00 Uhr laute Geräusche von der nahegelegenen Eislaufbahn des Ortes. Hier wird Eishockey gespielt und wenn der Puck gegen die Bande knallt, schallt das extrem laut. Das ist wohl der Nachteil einer zentralen Ortslage.
Badezimmer eigentlich groß, aber durch riesige Badewanne ziemlich verbaut. Nur ein Waschbecken dort und kleine Dusche.
Extra Gäste-WC mit Waschbecken ist unbeheizt und daher eiskalt!! Fernseher mit drehbarem Standfuß steht mitten im Raum zwischen Schlafbereich und angrenzender Wohnzimmer-Sitzecke. Fanden wir unpraktisch, verbaut die Laufwege. Für jemanden, der gerne vom Bett aus Fernsehen schaut, vielleicht gut.
Rezeption unscheinbar und klein, grenzt an den Restaurantbereich, man hat daher das Gefühl, man steht mit den Koffern mittendrin.
Die Bestuhlung im Hauptrestaurant und Frühstücksraum ist nicht optimal, da Sitz- und Tischhöhe für uns ( 1,80-1,84 m Körpergröße) nicht passten. Man versank in den Ledersofas und -sesseln; zum relaxen schön, aber eben nicht zum Essen am Tisch.
