Tomiris Lady's Capsul hostel only for women

Everything was perfect except the air condition made some loud noises at night but not too big of an issue because we slept so well thru the night.

The toilet area is very small, with barely enough room to close the door while using it.

Also, I didn't feel completely comfortable in this hostel. I wouldn't recommend it as your first stop in Almaty, as I found it difficult to connect with other guests and meet people. The atmosphere is very quiet and calm, which is great if you're looking to rest, but it felt somewhat austere and not particularly social, even for someone like me who isn't especially outgoing.

The hostel has quite strict rules, which in itself is not a problem. However, I would have appreciated having this information clearly stated on the booking page, as I might have chosen a different place had I known in advance.

I spent three days in Almaty and tried to make the most of my time there. After a two-day excursion to the lakes and canyons, my return to the city was delayed. I was originally supposed to arrive around 10 p.m., but thankfully I made it back at 11 p.m. The hostel door closes at midnight, and although I arrived before curfew, I ended up waking the host, who was clearly not pleased. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to reach anyone beforehand to let them know about the delay.

If you plan to spend your time exploring the region, hiking, or returning late from day trips, you may find the hostel's rules restrictive. While I fully understand and respect the need to maintain a quiet environment for other guests, travelers looking for greater flexibility might be better off choosing a different hostel.

That said, if you're looking for a peaceful, quiet, and well-organized place to stay, this hostel may be a good fit for you

The wall facing the street had huge windows, so it wasn't very sound-proof (relatively quiet neighborhood). Also, to get to the hotel reception and to the room, you need to walk under a row of air conditioning units which drip on your head. I was never lucky enough to walk there without feeling water dropping on my head.
