Beautiful accommodation
Pros:

Beautiful home; spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. Room was vey well appointed: spacious, wardrobe, tea trolley with microwave, en suite.

Cons:

Slightly disturbed sleep because someone in the household was very unwell. But this is a family home and quite understandable and unavoidable.

Never got to experience the place because everything has to be done in advance i.e. useless to me.
Pros:

Did not get to even see the outside of the building as I had been stranded at Fort William on Saturday 1st November and panic-booked this place. Unfortunately, the requirements for entry are extremely bureaucratic and, in my case - no cash, cards, passport, phone, etc.- totally a waste of time. In other words, make sure you read the small print because I was going to have the whole of the house to myself for much needed self-care and restoration, but was unable to because of the very inflexible and complicated check-in protocols and narrow-mindedness of the owner(s).

Cons:

Not allowing me to enter the property after paying in full for 3 or 4 days in order to receive respite from a very difficult time in my life and to enjoy a few pain free days in what appears to be a very good bargain with views across a green park with the River Tay in the near distance - according to the property's entry on this site.

stay away unless you like a midden
Pros:

Cons:

the room didn't look like it had been cleaning a while, there was dampness in the room, it actually looked like the host had rented out a room belonging to a family member, I had a hand towel to shower with, after looking at the bathroom I decided against it, weans were screaming for most of the night, I got scowled at upon entry to the property

Kind and respectful
Pros:

The host was respectful and considerate. I didn't need to stay out late, but my host was fine if that was what I needed. I was treated like family; I couldn't have asked for more.

Pros:

There was mold around the seal cap of the provided water bottle and it was open and partially full, the bedding was worn too small for the bed, the towels were dingy and old, had the feel Of towels used for years and there was hair at the transom into the shower when you opened the door. We were greeted by another guest who had been left with instructions, the host wasn’t even on site .

Disappointing.
Pros:

It's inexpensive.

Cons:

It's advertised as a private, detached, en-suite room. It is anything but that.
The only privacy is that the door to the room locks.
It isn't detached, it is a room upstairs within the property.
It isn't en-suite. You have to walk across the stairs landing to get into the bathroom. I was given my own toilet roll to take in and out with me, and a small hand towel.
I asked about a key to get back in as I was nipping out for food, but got no response. But I knew that I wouldn't be back late so I just knocked to get back in.
I went to go to the toilet upon my arrival and bumped into the owner who had shown me to the room already using the facility!!
It was clean and comfy.
I admit it isn't expensive, but I would like to receive what is advertised.

Great place close to the countryside and the city
Pros:

Very warm welcome. Lovely comfy room with ensuite bathroom, large comfy bed.Also good to have tea and coffee making facilities.
Lovely all round views .
