DONOT GET FOOLED BY PRETTY LISTING PHOTOS - you may not stay at the listed place

My entire experience was poor.

Cons:

Booked a 3BHK for a night for my family - upon reaching the place at around 7:00PM - entire property was pitch dark. One caretaker greeted us and started a power generator and then we could see where we were at.
1st SHOCKER : On starting the checkin process - to my ABSOLUTE SURPRISE - We were asked to move to a different property across the road a 3BHK apartment - yes apartment NOT a 175 year old heritage building. On asking why it is not mentioned on the listing - Owner (he came later) and caretaker didn't have any answer. This is absolute FRAUD and DECEPTIVE.
2nd SHOCKER: As it was dark, and we had travelled for 12 hours - I didn't want to argue anymore and wanted to checkin - Then came the second SHOCKER - there was no power in the 3BHK apartment and caretaker asked me to check the room in the pitch dark using mobile torch - I asked why there is no power and when will it come ? He said he is not sure. Owner is letting customers book an apartment that has no power backup. I was furious - I called booking.com support - they said they are reaching out to the property but they are unable to reach out. I couldn't cancel and owner said he will give a 12% discount If I cancel my booking online. I didn't agree.
3rd SHOCKER - The drinking water provided was in a 20 litre can that had large suspended dirt particles - only noticed in the morning as there was no great visibility in the night. Water in the tap was yellow in colour.
The overall experience was very poor with basic facilities like power backup and clean drinking and bathing water was missing - given that this was freaking 16K+ per night booking.
Also, there was no food facility at the the property - I had to Zomato the food.

PS: The owner is lying in the reply about abusive language. I've video/image proofs.

I liked the cleanliness and easy access to the town.

Cons:

We got the standard room which was small and not worth the money we paid. I have stayed in heritage resorts before and had better experience. This one as compare to the price they are asking, it's sub-par. The breakfast food quality was bad even though the spread had variety. The only dinner option was dine out or order in. For a "resort" the place is small.

Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the location was in the heart of the city

Cons:

They didn't give us hand towels, there was no tissue rolls in the bathroom. My friend was in the other room, his toilet flush was not working. Locks on the door were very basic- just a latch, so security was a concern throughout the night. Although AC/fan was not mentioned in the facilities provided by them, but when I asked for a table fan for my room, they said they don't have it and it can't be arranged. There were even no windows in the room, it became suffocating and clausterophobic. I spoke to tourists from other hotels, even though they also didn't have AC/fan, they arranged for table fans on guest request. This guest house is very basic, definitely not worth 5k.

The food was prepared fresh and it was a homely food.

Cons:

The booking.com site shows a building but the place offered to us for stay for not in that building but outside.
After a prolonged argument, we were offered one single room (for 4 of us) behind the main building, the ceiling of the room is with asbestos sheet (please see pictures attached). The approach to the room within the building itself is also bad. However, we were billed the same amount that was paid for a villa for 2 bedrooms.
The ambience is bad. The approach to the place is horrible and extremely difficult to find.
Housekeeping was poor. Poor quality water. Overall, we were cheated and it was a very bad stay.
