Beautiful hotel, spacious, luxurious feeling. Friendly and helpful staff, lots of little extras in the room (chocolates, hand cream, nice teas and coffees), love the robes, and the bed was incredibly comfy. We accepted the upgrade to a junior suite for 2 nights.
I've stayed here twice, once with my best friend and now with my mum, and not having a proper door or any acoustic protection around the toilet is just really uncomfortable for everyone involved. You can also see inside the glass shower door from at least half the room. Don't really see why it needs to be that way!
Also, the meal in the restaurant was 'ok'.
Beautiful period building with corresponding interior. The room was amazing, luxurious but also comfortable
Nothing
Everything staff were so helpful and kind, we had two old English sheepdogs with us too x they made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable for us all thank you so much - will definitely revisit
Nothing - perfect x
Location
Room was tired - have stayed at the hotel before in previous years and rooms were lovely but not this time I’m afraid
Just like home

Cosy somfortable hotel in great location
Very warm and comfortable hotel which made me feel very welcome
It could probably do with a bit of an update but this does add to the character
We have stayed here before and the staff are always friendly and professional. The overall ambience exudes comfort and class. The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood but well placed for easy travel to the city centre. Our suite was exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean.
We went out between 11am and 3pm and on return our room had not been made-up. Not a massive issue, but not expected in a hotel of this standard. We booked a Signature Suite and nowhere in the room description does it mention these suites are up 4 flights of stairs - with no lift. Again, not a huge issue but less than ideal if you have a slight knee injury.
Loved this place. Never been before and don’t know why. Felt like a real treat! Staff were great too and very friendly.
Nothing not to like!
Parking hassle with dreadful machines as always
From the moment we checked in the staff were amazing and the accommodation and room phenomenal. Also one of the best breakfast we have had in a hotel ever.
Nothing, only trouble was we were only there for one night wished we could’ve stayed there for a week
I thought the premises were beautiful location great
The staff weren’t friendly and at times rude like it’s to much to ask for them to do anything also witnessed by many other tables.
Everything was exquisitely tasteful, comfortable, well-maintained, and well serviced.
There is nothing to dislike.
