A very comfortable hotel in an excellent location
Pros:

A nice location within a short walk of the city centre. There is an airport bus stop about 5 mins from the hotel, just make sure you put the address in Google maps before you get on the free bus, as it wasn’t obvious where to get off.
The hotel was clean, with friendly staff. The official language of Basel is german, but English is spoken by the staff and many locals. The bedrooms were a good size and well furnished. The Wifi was very good. Even though there was some roadworks going on nearby, there was no noise in the rooms or inside the hotel.
The continental breakfast was excellent (limited hot food also available, but not tried).

Cons:

There was no air conditioning in the rooms, but two fans were provided and with careful use of the curtains and opening of windows the temperature was easily managed.

Pros:

Otelin kahvalti oldukca guzeldi. Konumu harika.

Cons:

Otele giriş saati 14.00 olmasına ragmen yaklaşık 30-40 dakika bekletildik. Kısıtlı bir zamanımız oldugu icin de bu bekleyiş biraz canımızı sıktı.

Nichts. 30 Grad im Zimmer, musste abreisen und das Zimmer bezahlen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war völlig überhitzt. Ich ertrage die Hitze nicht. Daher habe ich den Koffer nicht ausgepackt und musste abreisen. Ich hatte trotzdem den vollen Preis bezahlt und bin gleich wieder nach Hause gefahren.

Nice breakfast and good location. Need to be more upfront about the no air conditioning.
Pros:

Good location and good breakfast.
No air conditioning. It’s unbearable when we were there during one of the heat waves. I wasn’t aware of the fact when booked it.
