This small luxury hotel feels like an elegant home away from home. From the first time I saw Casa No Name I loved it. The ambience and the food are excellent. From the delicious breakfast on the patio to snacks on the rooftop bar. I loved the tuna tartare tostadas and wish I could have one right now. I thinks it’s my favorite hotel in which I have ever stayed.
No room service. I would have loved breakfast in my room.
Una estadía increíble en el loft y el servicio, muy amable. En total una espectacular estadía en San Miguel volveríamos sin duda!
Todo estuvo genial
The layout of the hotel is very quaint. It felt like home away from home. The food was great. The bar upstairs offers amazing cocktails. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit having a drink before we would venture out. The hotel was in walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go in town.
I prefer to pay all in the end, as opposed to having to sign for any drink I would get at the bar, or for breakfast. But I guess this is their policy, which is fine. It was just a bit of a disturbance to have to sign as I would be on my way out each time.
La casa es linda pero lo ofrecido no se cumplió
El costo no se refleja en los servicios . Poco personal. La misma persona es mesero recepcionista y encargado de tienda.
The location was excellent , very friendly staff, beautiful property. We felt very at home.
Bed very, very hard, room very small. We reserved a “ loft style” accommodation, but what was not disclosed at time of booking is that the loft units are located at a totally different property several blocks away. We refused that property upon arrival and ended up staying at Casa no name, which is where we thought we were booking for originally.
The building itself is beautiful, and the room was spacious and well-appointed — but it lacked a sense of warmth and human connection.
Before arrival, I called the hotel in Spanish for directions but was met with a surprisingly dismissive attitude. Only after mentioning my foreign name and switching to English did the tone become friendlier — a concerning first impression.
Check-in lacked any sense of hospitality: no welcome drink, and no free parking as advertised. We had to use valet parking instead, which cost 700 pesos per day. Light afternoon drizzle led to the closure of both the rooftop bar and the pool — amenities that had featured prominently in the hotel’s promotional images but didn’t reflect the reality we encountered. No turndown service was offered either.
The in-room snacks were also a disappointment: all of the nuts and chocolates had expired by 3 to 4 months — something completely unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one presenting itself as upscale.
I was also required to leave a 5,000 Pesos deposit, which could only be processed via debit card due to issues with their credit card system. It’s now been four days since checkout, and despite several follow-up calls, the deposit still hasn’t been refunded.
Strangely enough, on the day of departure — a Tuesday — the hotel suddenly looked like the one in the photos. Either it was a case of Monday syndrome, or the owner was expected and the hotel had to awaken from its fairy tale sleep.
Overall, an inconsistent and frustrating experience. It felt like no one was truly in charge.
A timeless boutique hotel where beauty, history, and enchantment blend seamlessly with refined elegance and impeccable taste. Comfort and quality take center stage with in this unrivaled location, where mornings begin with a gourmet breakfast prepared by a masterful chef and served in a garden of breathtaking charm.
Location and service
The service is top level. I was trying to tell my friends here about it with the right words. It’s elegant sophisticated Zen like laid-back gorgeous!
I loved it all
My only criticism is two bottles of water should be left in the room Complimentary every day & I should not have to pay for coffee in the room. If the hotel had to charge a little more to the price, okay. I felt this was CHEAP and should have been included in this lovely hotel!!!
Good staff service. Beautiful property
Did not replace water bottle and coffee at room
Beautiful hotel. My friend and I stayed at the Lofts location which is a little further from the main hotel. The space is gorgeous, but I wish we could have checked in directly at that location instead of having to go to the main one first. The staff was very friendly and the room was lovely.
Awesome staff. Awesome service. Can’t wait to go back. Location is really excellent.
Hotel staff were the best, in all regards. Location of hotel was perfect. Hotel rooms, lobby, eating area and rooftop bar were excellent.
Spa/pool tub in odd area, on way to bar/rooftop terrace > so we didn't use. Bathroom shower water pressure was VERY low, so no good shower had (not sure if other rooms had same issue). Beds were nice but bit too hard for my liking.
