A memorable & uplifting time at this home. Great place to get to know Dakar.

The manager was very personable and helpful. Great to chat with with.

Great place, lovely staf, great breakfast! a home away from home!
Pros:

Kakatar residence is a home away from home! Beautiful roof terace with laid back friendly atmosphere and a great view over Yoff and the sea. The staff is doing everything to make you feel at home and help you out. Couldnt wish for a better place and vibe!

Pros:

They responded to issues very promptly.

Cons:

My apartment was supposed to be sea view, but the view was far away, and the kitchen was not functioning, no pots, no pans, none functioning store lighter, leaking faucet.

Les chambres sont très grandes avec un coin cuisine. On est vraiment très bien reçu.
Pros:

Petit déjeuner très copieux. On est très bien reçu et cette attention dure tout le séjour. Je suis resté 3 jours à Kakatar.

Il proprietario é una persona fantastica, accogliente, disponibile e ti fa sentire a casa!
Appena arrivati alla sera ci ha invitati a partecipare alla Jam session di percussioni in terrazzo con lui ed i suoi amici. Molto bello!
Ci ha aiutati nell’organizzare la continuazione della vacanza dandoci suggerimenti riguardo mezzi di trasporto per raggiungere Ile de Saloum.
Colazione abbondante e molto buona, in terrazzo con vista sul quartiere Yoff.
Esperienza consigliatissima!

Absolutely reccomend
Pros:

Abdoul is the perfect host. His staff are wonderful. Everything is spotless. Breakfast on roof is exceptional. I also had dinner which was superb. Shrimp soup and grilled fresh fish with vegetables. There was a large bottle of water in the fridge it's a short walk to beach and lots to see there. Boys playing football and horses and carts.. Abdoul is super helpful. I so enjoyed my stay

Pros:

El desayuno en la terraza (preciosa) que además tiene vistas al mar, sólo por eso merece la pena. El precio está bien. Lo único, es que no había sábanas ni agua caliente, pero con el calor de dakar se agradece la ducha fresquita... Y sobre todo lo que más me gustó fue el trato con el dueño que fue muy amable y atento en todo momento.
