Serene and secluded hotel in “the hills” 15 minutes from the beach. Well designed, clean room with a comfortable fan, AC, and spacious balcony with view. Pool on site I didn’t use but looked like a nice alternative if you want a break from the beach. Free easy parking right out front. I loved that the property was only a handful of rooms/suites so it remained quiet, this would be a fun place to rent out multiple rooms with a larger group. Happy I stayed in this area of the island and rented a car.
During the day when the restaurant is closed, there isn’t staff readily available which was fine for the most part as they are very responsive on Whatsapp. It would be nice to have somewhere to quickly refill drinking water though. No breakfast options on site, but close to some good options.
Het inchecken was contactloos. We kregen vooraf een WhatsApp bericht met instructies hoe we het terrein van het hotel in konden komen, waar onze kamer lag en hoe we de sleutel konden krijgen.
De kamer zelf was ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien, koelkastje, rolgordijn, lekker bed, buitenmeubels, en een ruime badkamer. De airconditioning was al aangezet en de kamer was lekker koel toen we binnen kwamen. Het terrein ziet er mooi, groen en verzorgd uit.
Naast het hotel zit het gelijknamige restaurant, wat een echte (smaak-)beleving was om te kunnen eten. Het personeel van het restaurant is professioneel en gepassioneerd en zorgt ervoor dat je culinair in de watten wordt gelegd. Wat ons betreft een dikke 10 en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

The toilet being so far from the bathroom was a bit odd. I would have liked pool &/or beach towels.
Nobody to check you in? Never really saw any staff members. She spoke no English. Only 2 bath towels were given for the room. Had to text the manager for beach towels, then when I turned them in I would get a bath towel. This place would be great place to stay if they provide nice towels, beach towels and had staff to assist you. Plus there is no breakfast provided here. In fact no food unless you ate in there restaurants. No drinks unless you ate at the restaurant. So in other words you are on your own for figuring out the place and where to go get food and drinks.
No service! No staff!
The main benefit of the hotel is its shared location with the excellent restaurant. It is delightful to enjoy a meal and have only a few steps to reach your room. The hotel went above and beyond to deliver a piece of luggage I had left to my next hotel on the island.
We stayed at a time with few other guests and the staff was almost never present--we saw only the maid and gardener occasionally. There was no reception staff and we had to carry all our luggage up many flights of narrow steps. Also the room, Vanilla Suite, lacked any sort of place for a couple to sit or eat inside the room.
Guests should be advised that the hotel is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or problems with stairs. Fortunately, we are very fit for our age but many older guests could not have managed the steep stairs.

It was a longer walk to the beach than anticipated. We think you must get a rental car if you stay there.
