Royal Mile Suites by the Castle are located just off Edinburgh Castle and there is no parking of the property. Guests are kindly asked to park their cars at large car park with can be accessed by 7 minutes walk from the property. Limited payable parking spaces can be find near the property. Map with the parking locations will be provided to guest directly by the property self check-in instructions.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Property got repossessed by the Court order during our stay which meant the door locks were changed when we were out and couldn't get into the accommodation. The manager called us to inform about this, however, she couldn't find any solution to us the get our belongings back. After all day calls to various legal officials, I was told that we can get access to our belongings the next day. It spoiled the whole 24hrs of our holiday. Similarly to other reviews here, there are lots of lovely emails from the host to welcome you but when things go wrong, the communication and support is difficult to get.

Pros:

The accommodation was very good. The best aspect was the location, in the city centre, on the Royal Mile.
The flat was very clean and communication with the host was excellent.
Definitely worth every single euro.

If I ever come back, I will try to book this accommodation again.

Cons:

We ɛould not even located the property. Phone lines were off and we were stranded for over 2hrs. We had to book another place. Very horrible

The position of the property on Royal Mile near the castle, the quick response of the staff, and the feeling of their interest to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Probably the best, responsible hosts I ever met.

Cons:

A lot of stairs, windows from the shower room, and bedroom are disturbing the third person staying in the living room/kitchen on the sofabed during the night. Difficult to open the window and having a fresh air, could be quite noisy during the night as all buildings are facing into a little square garden like a tall chimney. All these comments are relevant for the 3 travellers. If you travel as a couple, you will be absolutely happy in here..

The room is comfortable, functional and warm. We like it.
Pros:

The cleanliness, kitchen, decoration, heater, bed, etc.

Cons:

The toilet blow is cold when you sit on it. Suggest to change to a toilet blow which is warm when you sat on it (the one used in Japan). Suggest to install a rail for holding when walk up or down the stairs and provide manual for using electric oven

Great location. Rooms were immaculate. Very authentic beautiful room. Tea coffee biscuits and water upon arrival. Loved the spiral staircase leading up to the room . Would stay again and would highly recommend.

The room was amazing inside with double bed very nice view and like inside a mini castle .located in the center of old town Just 2 minutes from the castle of Edinburgh The shower also was very nice and big.They had left me in a box 🎁 walkers biscuits!❤️

Cons:

I had to go up to 4 floor to my mini castle but it did not matter for all the above!

Lo mejor la ubicación, justo en la Royal Mile. Eso sí, en un cuarto piso con 77 escalones.

Cons:

Nos faltó alguna manta más para dormir. La habitación da sensación de frío por que la ventana no cierra perfectamente.
