Pros:

Definitivamente no volvería ni lo recomiendo

Lo único que me gustó es la ubicación, ya que está cerca de los ashrams donde la comida está súper rica.

Cons:

Literalmente todo. Mi habitación que había reservado, no tenía ventanas, lo cual en Europa es básicamente ilegal. Era la cosa más oscura, sin ventilación, terrible. Cuando me fuí a quejar, me ofrecieron un upgrade pagando obviamente, una barbaridad para lo que es India y Rishikesh. No tiene sentido hospedarse en este hotel con la cantidad de homestays que hay en Rishikesh, yo simplemente me quedé porque no tenía tiempo de buscar y por conveniencia. La llave para la habitación dejaba de funcionar a diario, había una luz en la ventana siempre encendida que no dejaba dormir bien, pues las cortinas no son opacas, el aire acondicionado era solo frío, cuando en Rishikesh hace bastante frío en invierno, luego te dejaban un calefactor que hacía que se fuera la luz de la habitación cada dos por tres, los interruptores de luces no funcionaban... ha sido de las peores estancias. Además, si pedías en recepción que te ayudaran con pedir un taxi, o con cambio de moneda, no te ayudan nada en decirte donde hacerlo, y te dan la opción de hacerlo ellos con unos precios desorbitados, 2 o 3 veces más caro. Mi amiga dormía en el piso más alto, y no podía dormir por las noches por el ruido del restaurante de arriba y una maquinaria que apagaban como a media noche y encendían a las 6 de la mañana.

Good hotel, would recommend
Pros:

The room was nice and house keeping did a good job.
The food in the restaurant was nice and staff very friendly.
Great location also.
Would stay again.

Cons:

I was asked when I would be checking in and I advised 11am.
I got a room at 2.15pm as they were not ready but had said it was ok for me to check in at 11am.

My phone rang at 6.01am and then had a knock at the door twice at 6.50am. obviously got the wrong room for something but I wasn't impressed as this was the on day I had to lie in a bit.

A nightmare
Pros:

Good spa and good restaurant. Manager is trying to help.

But…

- Be careful with reviews saying the manager is very nice and helpful. He is—but a dinner invitation seems to silence guests about everything that happens in this hotel. He invited me to dinner as compensation, yet refused a 3-hour late check-out after the stay described below.

- Huge gap between what is presented and what you actually get. For the price (not cheap by India standards), the service quality is far below expectations. I even had to pay more than €80 out of pocket for an upgrade just to stay in a livable room.

- Breakfast confusion twice in 3 days. Both the hotel manager and the restaurant manager insisted I did NOT have breakfast included, making me to find my reservation and show it while I was eating.

- Keyroom stopped working. Reception suggested I stay without a key and ask them to open the door every time. Only after I complained very clearly did the manager give me his own key.

- Laundry service was a disaster. My clothes were returned damp and dirty, but by that point I was too exhausted from everything else to even argue.

- Repeated power outages during the stay.

- Sleep was constantly disrupted. Every night until around 12:30 a.m., in room 207 and room 401, there were loud noises as if furniture were being moved. On top of that, a strong exterior light makes it impossible to properly darken the room.

- Staff attitude varies drastically. The manager and the bellhop are the only ones who consistently show professionalism. The receptionists are terribly disrespectful.

- When I explained everything to the manager—who was trying to help—he offered dinner at the hotel as compensation, but still refused the 3-hour late check-out I requested afterward.

Pros:

Great place to stay. Close to all cafes, shops and street stalls. Near the Ganges and Yoga schools some within the hotel. Staff were great.

The property is good but not worth this cost. Rooms are cleaned on demand and not everyday. Road to reach the hotel is very narrow. Basically the property is not worth paying this much

Pros:

The hotel is in avwry good position, near gage, near parmarth, in a area calm. The view is very good if you have room at 3rd floor facing mountains.

Room is big, clean, good shower.

Very happy

Cons:

2 Lights were not switching off at night. Only by removing card all switch off.

In the morning no electricity.

But very happy anyway about the hotel
