Very pleasant!
Pros:

The hotel was clean, pleasant ambiance and the staff was professional.

Cons:

The property was excellent. The negative was the homeless people in the area.

Loved it. Would stay again.
Pros:

The vibe of hotel was very chill. Very clean as well. I ESPECIALLY LOVED the bathroom. Great water pressure. Walking distance from downtown Portland.

Cons:

Not really hotel’s fault, but location was sketchy. No private parking. I was on edge that car was going to get broken into. But thankfully it was not.

Pros:

The staff were helpful and welcoming. The downstairs by area was nice. The rooms were actually clean and relatively well laid out. The space in the accessible bathroom was good

Cons:

The location isn't great surrounded by junkies and homeless people
The room was extremely noisy at night time. Almost impossible to sleep. It sounded like you were sleeping in the Titanic engine room
The beds were way too low for an accessible room

Pros:

Great Rooms and great location to downtown and waterfront

Could use more perks with the Junior sweet food or drink tickets along with clean Robs everyday

Pros:

Loved the staff. Drew was especially helpful and very personable. The rooms and lobby are very beautiful.

Cons:

that it wasnt clear that you had to ask for a fridge to be brought to your room so we wasted an opportunity to bring food back. and have drinks in our room that we couldnt get in hotel.

Pros:

The bar staff was excellent and so was the front counter staff. Ceiling height was great.

Cons:

No ice bucket, broken shower tiles, area rug was ratty, windows don't open, no fresh air and the HVAC wasn't working properly.

Clean, bright, comfy!
Pros:

The Hi-Lo is located right downtown and near several food trucks, making it easy to grab a late-night bite. It's also conveniently located near the waterfront. The hotel was quieter than expected, and my goodness, I was impressed with how lovely the suite was. The shower was glorious - lots of water pressure and lovely soap. The beds were also very comfortable. The rooms also receive a lot of light. All around, very lovely.

Drew, the gentleman who greeted me upon check-in, was very friendly and courteous—a true hospitalian.

Cons:

An in-room fridge to keep some drinks cold would have been nice. Parking is available off-site, but it is close by and reasonably priced.

Attractive, well-styled hip hotel with luxury features; love the fluffy bathrobes and central location
Pros:

It’s a great historic building. It’s not a big hotel so it felt intimate. The lobby is really welcoming and is a great place to hang out, as well as check in/out. There’s a long table with chess, checkers and tic tac toe boards, comfy couches, even a piano to play as well as some items that invite guest interaction, and everything is chic and stylish but also inviting.
Only a few blocks from Powell’s Books and Voodoo Donuts; and a super popular food truck area is only a block away.
Staff is super friendly and welcoming.
