Movie land group of house boats

I had a very nice stay in this houseboat on Dal Lake. The room was clean and comfortable along with spacious, and beautifully decorated. The view of the lake was beautiful and peaceful. It was a relaxing stay.

Great stay and best host.. we had to extend our stay due to a bike issue and Javed made all efforts to ensure we felt at ease. Great services- looking forward to come back soon

Ho trascorso qui 6 notti e non ho trovato solo un posto dove stare ma un piccolo angolo di casa sul Dal Lake.
Una delle cose che ho amato di più è stata anche la posizione, per me era nella parte più bella del lago. Una zona tranquilla, lontana dal caos e dai clacson, dal traffico di barche e shikara durante il giorno. C’era un’atmosfera molto più silenziosa e rilassata, che mi ha permesso di vivere il lago in modo più autentico e godermi davvero il tempo lì.. È stato un modo speciale di vivere Srinagar e di avvicinarmi davvero alla vita kashmira.
La camera era esattamente come nelle foto, sempre pulita, calda e confortevole, con acqua calda e tutto quello di cui avevo bisogno. Anche la colazione era abbondante e preparata con cura.
Ma quello che porterò davvero con me sono le persone. In questi giorni non mi sono mai sentita una semplice ospite: mi sono sentita accolta con un affetto e una gentilezza che hanno reso questo posto speciale. Mi hanno aperto una piccola finestra sulla loro quotidianità e, per qualche giorno, mi sono sentita parte della famiglia.
Ci sono posti che si visitano e posti che restano nel cuore. Questo per me sarà uno di quelli.

Ich habe hier 4 Nächte verbracht und es war einfach perfekt (verdiente 5 von 5 Sternen!). Das Haus und die Zimmer sind unglaublich süß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gab eine wunderbare heiße Dusche und das Essen war absolut köstlich.
Was diesen Ort aber wirklich besonders macht, ist der Besitzer: Er ist unfassbar freundlich, gibt tolle Tipps und sorgt für eine extrem herzliche Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist ruhig und schön – ich habe mich ab der ersten Sekunde wie zu Hause gefühlt. Große Empfehlung!

Very calm and comfortable stay

Breakfast was just awesome .. I will miss the noon chai everyday now which is prepared by Javeed bhai and irfaan … love you guys … keep up the good work and wonderful hosting ❤️❤️

My boyfriend and I stayed 4 nights and we loved our stay. What we prefered was Javeed and his family, their kindness and hospitality. Javeed and his brother helped my boyfriend to organise a memorable birthday for me and I'm very grateful for that. They also helped us to get a motorbike, negotiate the price and get us somd sim cards.

We loved the breakfast and dinner at the homestay. The bedroom itself is very nice with view on the lotus flowers, the beds are really comfortable (I was craving such a good comfy bed after all the very hard beds i got in other hotels) and our own private bathroom.

Everything was very clean. The view from the terrace is beautiful and Javeed or Irfan always make themselves available to pick us up with the boat or drop us off. It's only 2 or 3 minutes boat and the location itself is perfect, next to a lot of restaurants.

Der Host und seine Familie sind sehr sehr hilfsbereit und nehmen alle Gäste liebevoll auf. Egal ob es um Empfehlungen beim Essen, bei Plätzen in der Stadt, Preisen für Andenken oder Aktivitäten auf dem See geht, sie standen mir immer zur Seite. Wer nicht alleine unterwegs sein will, dem/der wird such angeboten, gemeinsam mit dem Auto ein paar Sights in der Altstadt oder am See abzuklappern.
Eine Sprachbarriere über Englisch existiert nicht.
Die Hausboote liegen sehr friedlich auf einer kleinen Insel, es ist aber zu keiner Zeit ein Problem gewesen, das “Festland” zu erreichen, da mich jederzeit jemand von der Familie kurz rüber fahren konnte.
Auf Sauberkeit wird großen Wert gelegt, heißes Wasser gibt es immer, ebenso wie Shampoo, Toilettenpapier oder Mückenschutz.
In Srinagar wird regelmäßig in verschiedenen Sektoren der Strom abgeschaltet, was in dem Fall dann auch das sonst sehr gut funktionierende WLAN betrifft.
Man muss sich auch bewusst sein, dass auf einem Hausboot zu schlafen nicht unbedingt für jeden/e etwas ist, aber es ist auch ein einzigartiges Erlebnis.

If you are missing peaceful nature and village vibe - this place is for you. Water, boats around, so many singing birds. I chose more simple and smaller room, but there are way more fancy and bigger rooms. And what is most important - hospitality of the family. I was picked up from the airport, I got help with getting another sim card as one prepaid I bought in Delhi, was not working. Irfan took a good care of me, showed me around lots of places in Srinagar. It was a pleasure to communicate with him.

집주인이 친절합니다 호수위에서 배안에서 자는 낭만이 있습니다 숙소가 섬에있어 외출이 완전 자유롭지는 않지만 원할때 집주인이 배로 육지로 태워다줍니다 그리고 호수뒤로 보이는 히말라야 산맥 2박3일간의 경험은 잊지못할거 같습니다

really enjoyed my stay at houseboat movie land, I found it spotlessly clean with comfy bed and super friendly staff, specially thanks to Javeed for all the tips on local spots. Great location just a short walk to reach tourist location's .
And testy breakfast excellent value for money.
