Todo fue de 10! Primero quiero destacar la excelente atención de Miguel, un genio!!.

Desde el momento en que reservé e hice consultas contestaba inmediatamente con toda la predisposición y precisión! Excelente!!

Nos ayudó con las reservas de TODOS los Ferryes (Santa Cruz a Isabela y su regreso. Asi como de Sta Cruz a San Cristobal) cuestión importante si vas en temporada alta.

También nos guió, y luego reservó, las excursiones a realizar y las actividades en Isablea. Incluso me envió distintos contactos de Santa Cruz para organizar alli excursiones.

Sin palabras la amabilidad y la predisposición incluso luego de retirarme del hotel.

El hotel esta excelentetemente ubicado, la habitación estaba impecable de limpia y daba a la laguna de flamencos.

Cuentan con una terraza preciosa y un bar a la playa muy lindo!! Todo un 10. 100% x 100% recomendable!!

Perfect location for the price

Wunderbares Hostel im Paradies
Pros:

Edith und ihre Familie waren sehr freundlich, immer ansprechbar und haben für mich Touren gebucht. Die Lage ist fantastisch und ruhig. Die Strandbar mit Hängematten direkt am Meer, kann man jederzeit nutzen, auch wenn die Bar geschlossen war. Gut ausgestatte Küche und Trinkwasserspender. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Vielen Dank!

Dated property with muddy entrance, slow Wi-Fi, and no filtered drinking water. I would not stay here again.

My stay at Hostal Galápagos by Bar de Beto was disappointing overall. While the location was convenient and the staff was generally friendly, the property has several issues that affected my experience.

The building is quite old and appears to need maintenance and updating. There was often a lot of mud outside the entrance, making it unpleasant to enter and leave the property. The internet was very slow and unreliable, which was frustrating when trying to plan activities or stay connected. Another inconvenience was the lack of filtered drinking water for guests, something I have come to expect even at budget accommodations in the Galápagos.

Because of these issues, I did not feel the property offered good value for the price. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again and would look for other options on my next visit to Isabela Island.

La struttura é fantastica, ha una vista insuperabile e anche se è sopra un bar, é tranquillissima. Edith é stata molto carina e simpatica, ci ha aiutato a organizzare tutte le nostre escursioni ad un prezzo vantaggioso (tra l'altro bellissime escursioni con guide competenti)

Geweldige gastvrouw bij een leuk Hostal
Pros:

Leuke Hostal met een goede locatie. De wifi was de eerste dag van ons verblijf kapot maar werd dag 2 gemaakt. Geweldige gastvrouw, vroeg altijd naar hoe onze dag geweest was en wat er verder op de planning stond. We boekte een nacht bij omdat de must-see tour volgeboekt was, dit was helemaal geen probleem en we betaalde dit enkele dagen later. Ook leuk om een drankje te doen bij Bar de Beto en op vrijdag avond een leuk dansje te doen!

Highlight of our Galapagos trip!
Pros:

We loved everything about this place! Great bed, great AC, good shower, amazing views and location, and incredible staff. It was very quiet at night to sleep. I highly recommend staying here!

Cons:

We (a couple, 32 years old) booked this accommodation for a total of 5 nights. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed that the entire bed, underneath the bedspread, was covered with long black hairs. We removed most of them ourselves. The sink drain in the bathroom was also still full of hair from previous guests.

Additionally, the description stated that Wi-Fi is available in all areas. However, the Wi-Fi in our room did not work at all. On top of that, the shared kitchen was locked during normal daytime hours on the first two days, leaving us standing in front of it with our groceries, unable to cook.

We contacted the owner via WhatsApp since the reception is not staffed and it is generally difficult to find someone to talk to. The kitchen was eventually unlocked, but all other issues were completely ignored.

The next day, we raised the Wi-Fi issue again. Someone attempted to fix it by installing a second router in our room. To do this, the owner’s husband drilled holes into the wall without moving our belongings or informing us beforehand. As a result, all our things were covered in dust. In the end, they decided the location was not suitable and removed the router again. The Wi-Fi problem was never resolved until check-out. The hair in the sink drain was also never removed, despite supposed daily cleaning.

In general, the accommodation no longer reflects what is shown in the pictures—maybe it did 15 years ago.

There is no real place to relax except for the bar, which is not directly part of the accommodation (and not usable when it rains). On the rooftop terrace, there is an old pool table that is no longer usable—no cues or balls are available. The grill and seating area are cluttered with old wood, probably from a collapsed roof.

We addressed these issues again in person with the owner. She reacted in a very rude and dismissive manner. There was absolutely no willingness to acknowledge the problems or offer any form of compensation.
