Pros:

Goeie accommodatie met erg behulpzaam personeel en prima ontbijt. Locatie is ook goed op 10 min lopen naar de oude boulevard.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked a room for 3 and arrived shortly to find cockroaches in our room. We went immediately to reception who couldn’t offer a solution as they ‘didn’t have any other rooms available’ however they were still advertising rooms on booking.com. When we asked them about this they claimed the rooms weren’t real and they just put them on the site to gain traction. Utterly awful. Unsure why it is rated so highly.

La gentillesse du personnel, lit très confortable

Cons:

Les poignées de porte qui sont très difficile à ouvrir. Le bruit qu’on entend dès que quelqu’un passe dans l’escalier ou dans les chambres en face.

it's ok, but is definitely just 3 stars. Best is the girls service on the desk, but the overall condition of this hotel is not a 4 or 5 star review. Can't understand where these overrated reviews here or on booking etc. come from.

Pros:

Bon rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel situé sur les hauteurs de la ville et à l'écart des travaux titanesques de Cat Ba.
A 'l'accueil Emma vous aide avec beaucoup de gentillesse et toujours le sourire..
Les excursions proposées par l'hôtel sont super.
Que ce soit la sortie d'un journée en bateau ou le trek dans le national park, nous avons adoré.

Some people might not like the steep road needed to walk down to get to the town area.
I love walking so not an issue for me but my friend moaned about it often.

Petit déjeuner incroyable ! L'hôtel est plutôt bien placé. La chambre était grande et spacieuse.
La gérante était adorable, nous avons réservé une excursion dans la baie avec elle et c'était top !
Possibilité de faire une lessive si besoin.

Cat Ba l'isola verde
Pros:

Staff gentilissimo e disponibile, hanno prenotato per noi un trekking nel parco nazionale. Stanza pulita, non molto spaziosa per tre adulti, ma siamo stati solo due notti. Colazione con possibilità di scelta.
